Great little Illinois farm brewery. Very picturesque place to have a beer on the back patio in the hop field. Fast friendly service, and tasty beers. The IPA's are especially good. Worth a detour on the back roads, getting there is half the fun.

Jean Dubuffet sculpture built in 1984, one of Chicago's public art treasures hidden in plain sight. Makes a nice walking tour stop, don't miss the Picasso, Nevelson, Chagall, Calder, etc. in the Loop. There's lots of great public art downtown besides the bean, if you look for it.

Folk art treasure in a unique setting. Such an amazing example of historical preservation. Far off the beaten path, the journey is beautiful and so is the destination. A place to contemplate rural life 120 years ago, the artist Ernest Hüpeden didn’t live much longer after the mural was completed.
