This is one of the best experiences in my life! I am so impressed by Haidilao, from the freshness in the food provided to the service from the waitstaff. There was a little wait when I arrived at this massive establishment for a Saturday lunch. Once you place the order on iPads, the broth and the dishes come within a few minutes. The sauce bar is robust, and even includes fruit, traditional Chinese desserts, and even porridge. One can get full just from that. There’s also free ice cream at the end. What I had not expected is the bianlian performance mid-meal! (My table even got two charms from the performer.) When there is another special occasion, I will most certainly return to this location.

The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. There are not many places in New York City where you can find an ube latte or a pandan latte. This time, I tried a pandan latte. Personally, the lattes are too sweet for me since they are is a lot of syrup added. Also, the drinks are quite pricey. However, I really liked the atmosphere.

Delicious Colombian food at such a good price. The portions are huge! Make sure to bring cash, credit cards have a 4% fee. $20 gets you a huge plate with rice, beans, and so much meat. I couldn’t finish my bandeja tipica. My favorite are the beans though. Staff are extremely kind, especially since I’m not very familiar with Latin American cuisine. Would come back again.

Second time here and the food was wonderful as expected! My friends got the pork ramen while I got the mushroom ramen, which I really think is an underdog in the menu! The miso broth is something I really enjoy, such a thick and savory broth! Make sure to get reservations to ensure seating, as this place is really popular. I did feel a little rushed towards the end of the meal, as the waiter just threw the check onto my table and kept trying to collect it even though I had been clearly busy catching up with friends.
