The Coffee Emporium

Decent place to chill as it’s in a pretty quiet corner of Westfield. Iced long black was decent, mango smoothie was a little too ‘foamy’ (felt like you were drinking foam), iced coffee was great but a little too sweet.
Rhodes Market

Conveniently located across Rhodes train station. The market is on once every month but without a specific week from my understanding (next one is on 3rd December), so you’d have to check their socials (Shopsinjoy on Facebook) on when the next one is.
A really small flea market (about 10-15) stall holders) in an office building that sells Korean goods - mostly clothing and beauty accessories. There was only one food stall that day, selling kimbap and tteokbokki (was hoping to see more) and some stalls that sold Korean snacks.
Would probably cater more to Koreans in the area but great to see that there is another market around the area!

Midori Sushi and Rolls Meadowbank

Probably great for the value side of things, taste wise wasn’t that great.
Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento ($14) - comes with teriyaki salmon with rice, 2 salmon nigiri, 2 pieces of rolls (tuna and california), miso soup and salad.
Chicken teriyaki was pre prepared in a food warmer. Chicken was a tad dry and chewy. Salmon nigiri had too much rice whilst the salmon was sliced really thinly.
Like I said, you’re really getting what you pay for - if you’re looking for Japanese, want to be filled without paying too much, you’re at the right place.

Meadowbay Fish and Chips

Perhaps the worst fish and chips joint ever. Service was incredibly horrible. You lot are incredibly generous given the rating is 3.7/5.
Had the grilled fish of the day and chips ($11.9) and chicken with cheese and cheese sauce roll ($10). Fish was overly salted - could possibly cure it given the amount of salt. Chips were a handful - could easily count this from the photos. Also salted to the max.
Chicken with cheese and cheese roll was horrible but better of the two. Dry as a whole. Chicken was also dry. No idea where the cheese sauce is.
Middle aged man was incredibly rude and had absolutely no interest in serving customers - we were just observing how others were served, no smiles, no thank you’s, aggressive tones.
Never returning.

IGA Orange Supermarket Wentworth Point

Not your typical Asian grocer! - they’ve got a seafood market, a Korean butcher, alcoholic section, a sushi stall, Korean restaurant, Chinese restaurant and a cafe, all in one place!
It’s probably one of the biggest in the area. There’s a huge selection of frozen stuff, vegetables and various sorts of Asian stuff that you don’t typically find in most Asian grocers out there.
Price wise - I did notice they might be a couple of cents more expensive but could just be the items that I’ve compared.
