Iconic monument overlooking Algiers. This is a wonderful piece of architecture with great views over the city and botanical garden.

Beautiful square and a lovely lookout point in Mdina. It’s one of the highest points in Malta and commands great views over the eastern side of the island.

The Chaukhandi tombs are remarkable for the elaboration and exquisite stone carving throughout the complex. The style of graves architecture is typical and only exists in Sindh - the style is found no where else in any Islamic countries. The construction in sandstone is well preserved and unique in part due to the graveyard orientation from south to north.

The mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar, rebuilt with the help of the Turks. He died in 1157, and his tomb destroyed by the Mongols in 1221. His death brought an end to the Seljuk dynasty but he was the longest reigning Muslim ruler with strong ties to Persia including the greatest poets of the time.
