A truly hidden spot with very limited parking just south of the LIRR overpass. You can hike up to the nearby residential streets or to the eastern terminus of the CSH LIRR station. A secret garden keeper has added lawn chairs, a buddha, inspirational wooden plaques, and signage throughout the trails. Thank you mystery person for maintaining one of Huntington's quirkiest spots!

Very peaceful. After the main path you can opt for a loop through the pine forest or meadow. Great for bird watching and dog friendly! Limited parking.

One of the most beautiful spots on Long Island. Well-marked trails with towering American beech trees.
WARNING - Due to Laurel Hollow's exclusionary zoning laws which ban street parking in the entire village, I received a $75 ticket for parking at the end of cul-de-sac to go on a nature walk. There are NO legal parking spots at the preserve entrance on White Oak Tree Road, which is quite shameful. Park at the Cordelia Hepburn Cushman Preserve and walk to the preserve boundary on White Birch Road.
