Short street on my home from U street going to logan circle. A surprising little park. Some benches and tables often a couple of people with laptops. A nice meeting place eith flowers a d!a few trees in blossom. It open railings to residencs opposite side of the street gives it a safe feeling. If there is sunshine dress cool take a hat. Simetimes i see fathers pushing push chairs around. Place for a quiet sandwich. There is a corner shop i havent tried yet. Take a book read for an hour.

Nice stained glass windows, modest dome, upper and lower tier seating, excellent organ. Services are welcoming to all, two services Sunday, last one 11.15am. Regular priest Ginger Gains Cerilo. Gives dynamic, well though speeches that are relevant to today and hold you attention. Simultaneous sign language. A well rehearse choir, male and female, often, sing special pieces. Some events also add strings and would wind. Sunday's are stimulating and thoughtful. Access for handicapped, and the service can be viewed from a side room on TV. The service is also transmitted. After service coffee and sometimes light lunch. Several programs on social and religious topics are held after the services. The church runs a program Saturday mornings to help homeless for clothes but primarily assist in getting documents, birth certificates etc. Starts at 8am use side entrance. Services are well attended 200 to 300 estimate. Uplifting experience and open to absolutely all.

Hard core of 3 or 4 congregation dominate the Church. It has a great web page that does not reflect the stiff atmosphere. After 4 years its not got off the ground, congregation wise. Has space to rent and a grant to improve the facilities. Suffers from lack of heating or cooling. Follows Swedenborg, but in name only, often puts a very skewed interpretation forward, and now promotes entrepreneurial Christianity? The Church has nice windows, and traditional vaulted ceiling, but lacks an organ. Some refreshments after a 5pm service, but modest and attended by 3 to 5 people.
