It was a sobering experience inside, but I highly recommend visiting the museum. Attendance was free for the military due to them being part of a program for the summer, so I was pleasantly surprised by that.

The staff was really nice and helpful and I would love to go back next time I am in Houston.
Highly educational museum located in an old National Guard armory. I had a awesome time there and will definitely be back next time I’m in Houston. I recommend everyone visit the Buffalo Soldiers museum.
Cool bar on the corner, not too far from Minute Maid Park. There’s a nice little area outside to smoke and the bar itself is large but also comfy. The entire staff was friendly and were awesome to get to know.

Really enjoyed the place.
Really cool joint with a great happy hour special. The bartender is fantastic and really enjoyed his service and conversation. I honestly can see myself coming back here next time I’m in Houston.

A small stone statue given to Washington, D.C. by the mayor of Yokohama, Japan. This small monument is located close to the FDR Memorial so it's easily overlooked, however you should definitely stop and appreciate the view and the generosity of others.
