If I could give this place less than one star I would. This horrible place attempted to cancel my event via email a week before the event stating that they had a, "scheduling error." Not only did this "scheduling error" occur, when I came there to get my refund, at the time they told me to be there, the owner was not there. The worker at the site had no clue what was going on, or who even sent the email. What a mess! They canceled our event even though our contract had been signed at least three months before the other party's contract. I had to wait an additional two hours for the owner to show. She gave the worker a check and did not even have the courtesy to write my name at the top of the check. Then she did not even give us a full refund for other services promised until reminded of it. What a mess. She never even got out the car to offer me an apology or anything, just handed that check that looked like it had been in her purse for ten years. The check was dirty and had stains on it.. Let me go further and mention, the owner of the establishment is who I made the reservation and contract with, had spoken to, and been in contact with. Their book-keeping is crazy.. They could not find our contract and was so unprofessional. The parking lot is NASTY and filled with all types of food trucks and not even able to accommodate the guest for your event. On the inside the place is nice, but no kitchen, not even a refrigerator. Bathrooms are old and outdated. Did I mention overpriced and charges for EVERY little thing. Please go somewhere else and get more for your money. Don't stop here, shop around and do better. I like to support black businesses, but BUYER BEWARE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
