Cute tennis club with three tennis courts and one court converted to pickleball courts. It is quite easy to get a tennis court here as there doesn't seem to be an overflow of play. The pickleball courts have temporary lines and nets. They are in okay shape. The nets are a bit flimsy but the lines pop in bright yellow for easy contrast for a mixed use court. The nets are too close together so it feels cramped if there are 4 players per court. They did set up a divider area so the pickleball don't mix with the tennis balls.

You can sign up for lessons as well as the first two courts have a divider net to keep the balls collected during lessons. There is a friendly staff member at the front desk who can set you up upon your arrival. It's busiest in the evening hours and very quiet during the day. See my video tour attached as well as photos.

These tennis courts are nicely situated in the South corner of the park in e nice neighborhood right next to the basketball court in the Northern part of Fort Lauderdale between Commercial and Oakland Boulevards.

Two hard courts in desperate need of repair with lights. I was there during the day time so I'm not sure how good the lights are. I did see lights beside the side of the fence so perhaps they are getting and upgrade.

The good news is there is nice spacing between the courts so there for singles or doubles play with room to maneuver and its easier to keep your tennis balls on your own court.

The fencing is a bit low at 8 feet so if you high lobs or have a powerful overhead be ready to retrieve your ball.

Parking is free and it does get full so plan accordingly as it's a busy park. If you are taking lessons you will have to do it on the down low as it is discouraged but not unprecedented. There is no crime in wanting to improve your tennis game is there? : )
Director of Tennis Rick Fagel runs a first class operation with beautifully manicured fast dry tennis courts and included one hard court with pickleball now available. You must be a resident or guest to play at this club.

They have junior and adult tennis programs including a staff for private tennis instruction.
A hidden gem in the small city of West Miami right near Red Road and SW 8th street.

They have two hard courts with 10 and 15 foot fencing with good spacing between the courts and plenty of shady trees. It's right next to the FPL station thus the high fences but its a fun place to play tennis including a hitting wall, basketball courts and softball fields.

Free parking but limited hours as the park does not open until 1pm. There are junior programs starting around 1:45 and fun into the early evening if you are looking for kids clinics.

Weekends might be your best bet but unfortunately it can't be on Sunday as they are closed.

Note: They do mostly programs for Juniors after school.
Very nice park right off Red Road located conveniently between Coral Gables and Pinecrest in the City of South Miami.

They have clay courts that are well maintained with above ground sprinklers and and just okay hitting wall.

They have beach volleyball courts as well as basketball and nice spongy walking path for the sample sized park.

They have many tennis programs for adults and juniors including private tennis lessons. I didn't see much for adult beginners though.

Parking is free in the front of the property and there is surveillance for your peace of mind.
