If you want to shop, Colombo is huge. It has a super market on the ground floor. The rest of the mall has all kinds of shops. You can use the kiosk to search if they have the shop you are looking for. It also has a food court with a variety of different cuisines to choose from.

If you are needing food fast, this place is good emergency food.
The staff is friendly. If you are not from the local area, I recommend purchasing the bottled water. The water glass they give you is tap water.
The time to make the food from order to table is decent. The portions is moderate except the salad is a good amount.

Malagos Bird Show
The bird show is a kid friendly attraction. I would say 13 years max. It is geared mainly for the younger child.
They are informative during the show. It is about a 40 minute show.
Make sure you get a sitting mat because you sit on concrete stadium seating.
Chairs are very limited on top.
