Stayed with an Airbnb host. Pretty run down units, ours had a very old bed and needed a better cleaning, hot tub was nothing special, the units are very badly sound proofed and you can hear everything your neighbors above you and next to you are doing and there is also no privacy when you have your curtains open since all the windows are either facing the road or the walkway. (Unless you are on the top floor) Parking is ok as long as the place is not packed. There was a bit of trash around the walking paths as well. Biggest plus side to this space is its location to the slopes and blue mountain village. Also has a nice trail behind it for hiking that has a waterfall.
Always such an amazing time here with the kids, amazing location great parking always nice staff. The train is fun and the carousels are beautiful and unique with a great backstory. Good prices too. Kids under 2 ride train for free.
Great beach for picnics (grassy area with tables) or just a day at the beach, this beach is smaller and fills up fast on weekends, provides some shade during the day and usually has nice calm water with a perfect view for sunsets. The water is very shallow so it’s great for kids, you have to walk pretty far out for deeper water to swim in. The shallow water often makes for warmer water in the late summer as well. Limited parking here since lot is small.

Really great indoor place for kids, especially on rainy and cold days. The seating can sometimes be scares if a lot of people are there as adults seem to hoard the tables and extra chairs, the price can be a little steep for some especially if you have more than one kid over one and you don’t go on a day that has a discount- see Facebook page for details on that.

Northern Tikes also offers food and drinks and has plenty of snacks the kids will like and coffee that will get the adults through their day.

Another tip. Public parking around so have change for the meters and be prepared to walk a block or so with the kids if it’s a busy time of day.
Really amazing place to explore for the day, the trails are fantastic and well maintained and the caves are very cool. It’s a bummer it costs so much to get in but it’s worth it as you can see the money is obviously being used to keep the place nice and workable. We went on a rain day in the fall so it was a bit slippery however everything was still worth seeing. There is also. A small waterfall on the trail with the suspension bridge. Includes picnic areas, a fish pond and a nice park for kids. The gift center has snacks for after your walk and there are plenty of other activities like gem mining and mini gold to do on the nicer days with family. Offers other trails for longer hikes as well that we did not make it to.
