I love the beach. I launch sup and kayak there. Free parking/entry.

Very calm place to launch sup or kayak. Its not in park so after pay at checkpoint you turn around and drive across street. Its a longer way to launch from parking lot then would like so take kayak wheels if you have them.

They installed a kayak soft launch. So drive past regular boat ramp a few minutes.

Water is too shallow and muddy. If you time tide perfectly and dont have a rudder you might be able to launch. I drove 20 minutes to selbys landing since my sup had fin.

It's giant from my little kayak. Lighthouse is close to pleasure Island. Like most Lighthouses you can't dock on or enter it. Great view of it from Dock of the bay and Rowboat Willie's restaurants.
