Recon DMV

I was looking for the "Breakfast Diner" experience. Not a fast food chain or franchise. College Park Diner nailed it. Service was good, I felt like I had two waitresses. The food hit the spot. I had French Toast, Sausage & Hashbrowns.

The seating is a little small at the booths, if you are a larger person like me. I will be going back again. Thank you.

I didn't know there used to be a ship building yard here. Very nice view and relaxing area. Right on the Mount Vernon Trail.

Very nice & clean park. Gravel Trail and single track hiking/biking trail. Very relaxing. The parking lot also connects to Rock Creek Trail. I plan on going back.

It appeared to have small boat rentals in season.

An incredible trail and park. Terrapin Park is the icing on the cake. This is one of the best trails I have ridden. Gravel, boardwalk & nature all in one place. The bathroom was Super Clean as well. I went on a foggy day and it offered a completely unique experience. I will be back every season of the year.

Nice trail. It is hard to follow the connections via side walk & street crossing without using your phone/ app or mapping device for a 1st timer. I rode from River Rd to C&O Canal. There are some hidden gems for the advanced rider. A beginner will enjoy it as well. I will go north next time.
