M S (Sunders ont road)

Lovely place, well preserved in the main bit which was all I managed to fit in on my lightening tour. Had some food at the fairly average cafe. It was solid food. Helped make you think of the cafe for the old immigrants. The reception hall is amazing and worth the visit alone. Must have been incredible to walk through and be welcomed to this great country through this amazing space.

The views of Manhattan and Liberty are also cool. And the ferry is fun if a little crowded at peak times.

Lovely golf club. The best welcome committee I have ever had as an old guy with a white beard welcomes you at the car park entrance. Did not play the course as was working but looked tricky in the high wind of the day. But greens were manicured and the re wilding of some of the fairways looks good. Club house was old worlde but well maintained. Food looked good and the small shop on site well stocked. Coffee was amazing and cakes at the halfway house recommended. The date cake was lovely.

Although much smaller than the us parks or Disneyland next door it still has a few great rides and an attention to detail that is simply missing in most alternate parks. The merch is not as good as the US stores and collectibles a lot fewer on the ground. But worth it for tower of terror, crush coaster if you can wait till it is quieter and the excellent avengers ride. When we went there were very few characters around. But the place is magical.
