Hot Biscuit Diner

Very pleasantly surprised by this little diner! Older dining room, but very good food. My Reuben sandwich was exceptional, you could taste all the spices in the pastrami, and the sauerkraut was fresh and crunchy. The burger with onions, cheese, and BBQ sauce was also delicious, very juicy and flavorful. Fair prices, good looking desserts, though we were too full to get any. Fast, friendly service. Parking out front.
Very sensitive to my food allergy. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and there were plenty of things I could eat that hadn't been fried with shrimp. They subbed deep fried onions for pan fried on my burger, and it was great.

Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre

Simple, not fancy dining room, pretty good food, pretty good show. Very friendly wait staff who are also the singers. I'm personally not a huge fan of musicals, so I'm probably not their target audience. I didn't realize it would be all singing when I went. It was pretty good, not great. Fun time with friends, though.
Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center

Beautiful set of trails with views every mile or less. Plenty of parking across several lots, bathroom or port a potties at every lot. Most lots have picnic tables, no grills or trash though. Dog friendly. Nice visitor center with bathrooms. Waterfall isn't that exciting from where we were standing on the boardwalk, but if you got off, which you're not supposed to, it's probably better.

Nice large, clean, well lit garage. Stairs and elevators to shops. First two hours free.
Seneca Mill and Quarry Ruins

Cool ruins of a quarry from the late 1700s and stonecutting mill from early 1800s. To see the ruins go upstream from Seneca Creek Aqueduct a hundred yards until you come to a trail on your right. Follow trail for five minutes. There are two paths once you're there, one more cleared than the other.
