Asbury Ale House

Hello my foodies! So, I was on my adventures and stopped by this place in Asbury Park, NJ. There were quite a few people here when we arrived. I will say that the server we had was really nice and very accommodating. They had loud music playing so I didn't like that as I couldn't have a very good conversation with my friends. I don't mind music, but keep it to a decent level for your guests to enjoy their conversations. The food was ok, but probably wouldn't order the chicken tenders again. They also don't have menus, so you have to use your QR scanner. Ok, so not that I'm against technology, but I forgot my glasses at home, and I couldn't see the menu too well from my cell phone. My server understood our struggle, so she found us a paper menu. That was nice of her. We also noticed the cups were not glass but like a plexiglass material, but it left the glass looking cloudy like it wasn't clean, but she said it was washed. I'm sure the locals enjoy this place a lot, but it wasn't for me. But as always I say try it for yourselves, maybe you'll find a better meal to order then what I ordered.

I needed a quick place to stop by and feed the tribe. This was in my line of sight, so we went in. The workers here were very nice and accommodating. They brought our food up to us and were pretty helpful with what we needed. They have a seating area downstairs and upstairs for larger parties. The price is what you would expect for NY. The pizza was ok. Thin sliced, good proportions and had a good taste. The place was clean, and the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their visit as well. They had a variety of choices and some amazing looking desserts. I would recommend this place for a quick bite or emergency pick me up for hungry kids!
This place gets 5 stars because they were open after we got out of the Mariah Carey concert. 2 because the server we had named Jorge was excellent! 3 the food was good. I had a great burger, and with Jorge recommending, I add an egg, and bacon only elevated my burger to master burger. He was great with me and my family, and the drinks made it a happy birthday weekend all around. I would recommend stopping by and asking for Jorge to help you out with your food choices!
One of three places I go for Mexican food outside of Bayonne. Biggies on Bergenline Ave in Union City still has that excellent flavor. Their tostadas were amazing. The green salsa was excellent and their handmade quesadillas de carñitas was an explosion of flavor. The limonada was perfect, not too tart or too sweet. Great service and not a long wait for food. Even tho the parking is sparse most of the time its worth looking for one to get a bite to eat here.
Haven't been here in years. Use to live in this neighborhood and this place has stood the test of time. The food is still delicious and the servings are generous. They were able to accommodate our group of 12.
