Nice, quiet little trail hidden in Stony Brook. Parking for about 4 cars only. As long as it remains 'hidden' it's a really nice place for a casual walk by yourself or with your dogs. It's a carry out trail, so pick up after your dogs and carry all garbage out.

Such a nice old time general store. My family has lived just a short walk away for nearly 45 years and I just recently visited for the first time. In addition to the historical aspect, it offers something for everyone from home/personal goods to old fashioned candy. To be honest, it was the good old fashion candy and the balsa wood plane glider kits of my youth that made me pull out my wallet ☺️. If you are in the area, I recommend visiting. Very friendly staff as well

Beautiful, peacefully quiet location with great views. Has been taken over by the Dept of the Interior. I don't think you can tour the lighthouse but you can get up close. Nice neat grounds to walk on. Can bring your dogs but they need to be leashed. Oldfield Police have their HQ here so it's a safe location. Closes at 6 pm sharp. Oh, and don't try to scale the fence and make your way to the beach unless you like wearing handcuffs.
