A stunning mosque with a beautiful pearl green interior. It’s a peaceful place with one of the most beautiful tiles I’ve seen. It’s one kind of a jewel and definitely worth a visit.
Note: It’s a bit outside Baku, so don’t rely on Bolt to get to/from there

First step into the mosque and i was awed by its intricate tile work. The mesmerising shades of green will leave anyone captivated.
Having the Caspian sea as its backdrop, this mosque will be a place i will not soon forget.

Bibiheybət Məscidi is a true jewel in Baku's architectural and historical crown. This magnificent mosque boasts not only stunning aesthetics but also a rich and storied past that resonates with visitors.
The short drive from the city to reach this sacred site is a journey through both time and beauty. As you approach, the panoramic view of the shipyards and the Caspian Sea beyond is simply breathtaking. It's a unique blend of old and new, where tradition meets modernity.
The mosque itself is a testament to the architectural brilliance of the past, with intricate details and graceful lines that speak to the devotion and craftsmanship of its builders. Its history is equally captivating, as it has stood witness to the ebbs and flows of time.
For history enthusiasts, architecture aficionados, or those seeking a moment of serenity, this mosque is a must-visit. It stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of faith and artistry, inviting all who enter to be a part of its storied narrative.

I visited the place just at the right time. It was drizzling a bit, and there wasn't much crowd around. The view was beautiful with all the clouds and rain showers it felt serene. A big thank you to the little girl who was distributing candies around, and she gave me 8!! By the way, the place is a little outside the city, so don't rely on Bolt on your way back coz there is an 80% chance you might get stuck. Try to bargain with the taxi guys standing out they aren't bad either. I paid 10mn to reach Nizami Street.
I was expecting much more, as this seems to be a famous mosque. There are no lights at night like other ones.
Its on the way to Qobustan, and on the main road itself. Very limited parking along the road side.
The mosque is pretty interesting, and prayer room is also available. Its on the sea shore, so you can have the view of sea port and lots of containers and shipyard.

Beautiful mosque. Loved the peaceful vibe of the place. It wasn't crowded. Just a few minutes away from main city, Baku.
Amazing mosque. It was actually built in the 13th century but destroyed in 1936. I have uploaded the actual mosque picture as well. If you visit Baku, this should be on list to visit and spend some time up there. There is a beautiful view of Baku city from the mosque.
