Worst shawarma we've ever tasted! Waste of money! My kids couldn't eat that gyro beef +lamb. It was so disgusting and it went straight to the garbage bin after picking some rice out of it. Went straight to the garbage bin. You should have told me from the start it's a processed meat and not real lamb and beef. You could get away with someone else but me who knows how real meat tastes like.
Chicken wasn't good either, especially when you put so much rice and so little chicken in a large plate.
What a rip off!
I assure you that it was our first and last time ordering food at this location on Highland.
Ordered 3 wraps to go. Paid for extra toppings for 2 of them. The first one we paid for fries in the wrap and never received it. We asked for mild hot sauce in the wraps (one line) and it was so spicy I couldn't take more than 2 bites. The hot sauce made it impossible to taste anything else in the wraps, definitely not worth it.
Came here with some friends yesterday and I’m glad I found this spot! Prices are excellent, quantity is great and the taste is phenomenal as well! It’s in a very good location of Mississauga as well and the staff were very nice! I recommend this place to everyone!
We went for a chicken shawarma and the nice ladies made us a fabulous lunch! Tasty and a good price too!
This is a Decent restaurant. I had the shawarma salad here and I felt like the shawarma was a bit pricey compared to other options. The quality was also pretty decent, as the salad was a basic garden salad (and I had asked for taboulie). The chicken itself isn't white meat, however it is marinated well as to increase the flavors. I probably wouldn't come here again, but maybe their wraps are better
Amazing service, food and people!

Chicken is well marinated and portion sizes are great. Staff are very generous and friendly. Would definitely recommend :)
Horrible. I just placed an order through skip the dishes. The bread doesn’t taste good. The sandwich is extremely dry I added tahini sauce for toppings and I can’t see anything. I’m not sure how to eat this. Just so bad. The picture says it all. Disgusting.
Lazeez Shawarma blew my mind! The portions were huge! I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Platter, which includes Lentil Rice, Salad, and Potatoes, and it was really enough for two people! But I was a hungry man, and I appreciated such a wholesome and satisfying lunch! 😊 The tastes and flavours were unique for shawarma, but when everything was mixed with the salad, it tasted quite good. If I return to the area then I will return to Lazeez Shawarma for another meal. I would bring my family and friends here. Great value, and a satisfying meal.
First time ordering take out
The salad was very old and the meat was black, too much spices and old and uncooked well
I ate some of it and I’m sick to my stomach

And the fish
Was so old we had to throw the whole order out
Felt such a waste of money
I’m very upset
It’s such a money waste
$60 for very bad quality of food
Do not recommend

Do not waste your money
Delicious food, mom and pop shop vibes. Best chicken Shawarma wrap I’ve had in a while! The wrap is crispy and delicious, not too salty - perfect seasoning, very fresh veggies and delicious sauce and in house made hot sauce. The fries were crispy and flavourful with a type of garlic sauce / white sauce and the price is super reasonable. The shop owners are very nice and hospitable , will visit again :)
Hey, Foodies, I just wanna share my recent visit to this place Karas Charcoal Shawarma restaurant, one of the best Shawarma I ever had. I’m giving 5/5, the reason being that it's reasonable and the amount of quantity without comprising taste is remarkable. The unique thing is that the Shawarma is grilled in charcoal. I’m so delighted to taste whole chicken Shawarma wrap, which was very delicious and very big too.
The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and made sure customers felt welcomed and valued. Great customer service.
Guys try their food and all other varieties. I am sharing the pics as well with this review. Must visit and will be visiting again here.
The mix wrap was so delicious! Unique flavour and extremely meaty. Amazing hospitality and atmosphere in the restaurant. Special thank you to Kero. Great guy!
This was hands down the BEST restaurant experience I have had in a while. My Kid and I wanted to try a new place and came across Sahara Palace. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken by the calm, cool atmosphere, and the warm welcome and hospitality we received from Andrew.

We choose the set meal at $45/person as it seemed like a great way to try a bit of everything. We weren't wrong. From start to finish every dish was not only delicious, but a beautiful work of art. Simply stunning!

For those thinking the price point is high, NOPE! The quality was top notch and there was so much food! We had to stop eating and box up food to take home to save room for dessert!

Thank you Andrew and the rest of the team at Sahara for a truly incredible culinary experience. We'll be back!
Seriously incredible! Andrew (our host) is super personable and friendly, portions are massive, and O. M. G. the food is all so beautiful and absolutely FULL of flavour! We got the Set meal so we got to try a variety of items and despite how full we were we couldn't help but order some baklava anyway! 100% from me, definitely coming here over and over!

Update: he brought out tea with the Baklava because he's just that awesome
VERY STINGY ON MEAT: Ordered 2 Large and one Regular. Lots of rice not many on meat even though I asked to put abit more. I normally go to Lazeez in University but came here since it's closer. The university lazeez location is very generous with the portion of meat and I recommend that location even though it's further. Here's the photos to prove it.

Wasted $40....

UPDATE: I just came back yesterday 03-10-24 to give them another try, ordered On the Rock and the meat is still very little!! I tried to contact the owner about this and you cant just hold of him, no contact info. I bought 2 of these and its just full with rice and flooded with garlic sauce, no chicken, that's all I taste. Very disappointing and I will Leave this review. Here is the updated photo on the 3rd.
