One of the main train hubs in the city.
Easy to get to the ferry port from here.
Easy way in or out... very hot during summer.
Just breath taking! An absolute must which is one everyone's bucket list!

It is amazing to discover how modern the Greek civilization was 2500 years ago. Of course the Partenon is the master piece but the Acropolis complex also includes other notable structures: Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Propylaea.

Really an immervise journey!
This station is Monastiraki, everything goes inside and outside. Brings you back to different times because part of the station looks like of ancient. It’s a weird station for various reasons. Always packed with tourists outside and passengers inside. Always you are reminded to watch your step when you get on the train if you want to have your legs intact at the end of this trip. The infrastructure is the same from back in the 1980’s. The rest is up to you and it’s functional.
A modern metro station, easy access to the lively historical centre of Athens (i.e. Acropolis and archeological museum). There is also a small exhibition with ancient findings from the area, as well as statues from the Acropolis of Athens.
Easy transportation to the historical centre of Athens, clean and modern metro station. There is also a small archeological museum with ancient ruins which have been found during the construction of the metro, as well as a part of the Iridanos river, one of the rivers of Athens.
