Reviews

the food is amazing and the staff are really nice and friendly, the best service and food and there is parking which is hard to find in tel aviv!
definitely going there again
Disgusting food and disgusting service. Not worth it
Great atmosphere, great food, great service, the owner is super nice and gave my friend who was celebrating her birthday a cactus plant she liked from the counter :)
Good food and very good service!
I really enjoy this place. Their egg noodles are crafted exceptionally well. Plus, if you have a taste for spicy dishes and sauces, they've got some great options for you here.
Small portions and slow service.

Food is good, but the overall is poor.
Delicious fresh sushi, Japanese beer, cool waitresses, pleasant atmosphere. Thank you!
Excellent quality sushi, affectionate waitresses, nice drinks and reasonable prices. Overall, I'm planning to be a frequent customer.
A lot was said about the tasty food, but I want to emphasise how *accessible* the restaurant is for people with disabilities! Right as we entered the staff organized a comfortable chair instead of their benches, and they have great accessible bathrooms that places in the US should learn from. Service was top notch, Idan the manager was a real sweetheart and we will definitely come back.
Food is nice. As good your favorite chines place. Went for lunch and couldn't order Ala cart which had the things I really wanted to eat. Price was fair
Great restaurant with very creative quality food.
Best sashimi. Mouth watering lamb to be shared. Informative service a surprising sake/ win list.
My best experience in Israel!!
Nice place for lunch and Asian Food Take away.
Food is ok location is good and there is a big parking lot with fair price next door . I assume night time free parking on the street is available.
Service was absolutely great ... Food was a bit too sweet
We are alone in the restaurant (it’s Monday evening, quite early), the atmosphere is nice (the music is good and not too loud, the lights are a bit low but fine) and the service with Shir was perfect. She helped us create our own sushi and was very available all the time without bothering us. The food was very good and arrived very fast.
Most tasteless noodles I have ever tried. 🤮 65 ₪? Looks and tastes terrible. Just disgusting.
I went there with colleagues to have lunch today. English menu and Hebrew menu doesn't show the same prices. English prices are not the ones you pay for. I ordered a dish for nis39 but at eventually I paid nis69. Even if we showed them the card and the waitress and the waiter took responsibility they didn't want to make a discount to us. Actually I won't ever go there and I don't recommend that place either. Food is good, it's also expensive but nothing exceptional (despite tourists prices and local prices).

Edit of 20.09.2023. I called Amir who is supposed to be the owner of the place and he asked me to call him due to my previous comment. I asked for a refund. He pretended to not understand what I said and then he hung up on me. Very very very RUDE.
Great atmosphere and design, music was great.
HOWEVER, overpriced(!) menu and poor service quality.

I've been in a cheaper restaurants with better service and dishes.
Most disappointing salad was the papaya salad.
Unfortunately we won't come back.
We sat at the bar. Great service. We had the the nums which were very flavorful and great, the beef bun which was also great.
The ramen was lovely with intense tastes.
The papaya salad was ordered even though the waiter warned us twice - once about the fish sauce in the dressing, once about the hot chillies. It was wonderful. Yes, fish sauce was noticeable as the last of some complex flavors in each bite. It might not be to your liking.
Food was ok
Place was freezing , and I'm not someone that gets cold very easily
The atmosphere was nice and our service was very attentive. We had both sushi and noodles, and they were fine (good quality fish).
An ok restaurant. Very big portions, all dishes were fine. They gave us a surprise discount on the bill which was nice. Free parking for up to 2 hours at the parking lot.
My ranking is based on comparison to restaurants at the same price level.
The food was tasty, but some of the dishes were mediocre. Our observation is that when a dish had to be fried, it was not a good one.
The waiter was reciting all of the right details while looking at every other table than ours. He was probably one of the more experienced waiters and hence felt responsible for the whole restaurant and for us it was unpleasant to talk to him while he is minimizing his attention to us to the required minimum.
One of the dishes did not arrive until the end of the meal when we reminded him that it did not arrive.
The desserts were wonderfull! We tried all 4.
The summelie was wonderful. Her recommendations were perfectly suitable for us.
The atmosphere is mostly loud. We could hardly talk. The accoustics are horrible.
Best experience ever!!!!!!! I came for my birthday and they surprised me with a cake!!!! The sushi was great and service was amazing. Highly recommend
Semi-trashi Asian food place, big portions. Don't expect anything authentic, but Israeli/western versions for traditional dishes.
Dine in or Togo. There are two ordering kiosks outside with English menus. So it should be tourist friendly. They have fried egg noodles, rice noodles, rice and kids menu. The price is reasonable given it's located in the city center. Not far away from many business offices. I ordered the Malaysian curry egg noodle. The flavor is not authentic but tuned towards non Malaysian people. I think it tastes better.
Phenomenal food and great service.
Would definitely visit again.
Absolutely love the food. Our favourite is saturday lunch, ready to come back again and again, and it is always a total success
Great food, good place and good service!
Highly recommended 👌
Nice and cozy place with clean seating. Fresh cold tap water and colorful dishes. We ordered the lunch menu 12h - 16h that gives you appetizers for 5 NIS - a nice addition! The food was good and not expensive. Recommended for lunch but when it's busy don't expect to get your bill fast.
What a nightmare! Disorganized staff! We were the only table in the restaurant when ordered, took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare our order because of busy Wolt orders. Not coming back here!
The fish was fresh, the prices are reasonable. Good value for money; will order again.
Excellent sushi and great service

Great service from Michal the waitress.
Delicious food - a little spicy or not at all - as you wish.
I loved the Mumbai-gold-curry and the Caesar salad.

Great asian restaurant.
The food is very good and very fresh.
The service is very quick.
The sound acoustic is horrible, so in rush hour it can be tough for sensitive ears.
The price is fine for what you get.
I Will com again
Highly recommend!
The food and the service were great!
Very pleasant place of Asian food and sushi with very pleasant and inviting atmosphere and tasty food!
The Giraffe is our default go to place. The food is good and you can have it with meat or tofu so both the veggie and the carnivore members of the family can enjoy. I don't like the Tel Aviv location as much since it is crowded and this time around there were a bunch of little kids running around.
The place is nice. Good atmosphere, pleased background music. But all other aspects not good enough . The food not tasty at all. Feeling that is no salt in any dish. We order one first and 2 main dishes. The second main dish was served only after we finished first and one of the mains.
Decent spicy combo. A little overpriced for quantity (even forgot addition tofu order). Not bad but even by Tel Aviv standard this place has room for improvement
Food is good but low VFM
Very delicious. Vegitarian and gluten free options. Dined in and Ordered noodles tatami, hikora bowl and curry. I highly recommend the sushi and keisar salad. Slow service but very generous. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Five stars!!!
Average Asian restaurant, not high quality.
Really bad service at the restaurant and by delivery.
One of the best asian restaurants in Tel Aviv. Delicious food. Expensive but worth it.
The good was great. It's mostly asian cuisine. Hanoi asian alcoholic drink was really good.
Wow, amazing food, vibes, beautiful place and great service. There is a free parking close.
I did their tasting menu, it’s a very nice concept that they do depends on your budget. You can choice how much you would like to spend and they serve the dishes accordingly and to your dietary restrictions.

My waitress Shai was lovely and explained each dish. Everything was really good (some of the dishes had a little too much heat for me).

My favorites were the sashimi, dumpling and pineapple dessert.

I dined at lunch time, which has a 15% discount on the menu. The menu is very large so I would recommend either doing the tasting menu or follow the suggestions of the waiters.
Not as good as I remembered it to be. It took long. Then, the waiter confused the orders. Food was better than the average. I do like the Giraffe and will come back. Just important to set the expectations right.
It’s really tasty, cheap and beautiful restaurant, we paid about a 200 shekels for two person. I recommend yo to try this dishes: ״Super B - A egg noodles with beef”, “Fotomaki” sushi - Salmon, avocado, rice and cucumber. You also should to try a Jasmine tea, it’s only 16₪, but has a perfect taste.
So you’re looking for a different culinary experience compared to what most restaurants in Tel Aviv have to offer… You want a great meal, savory, fresh and if possible absolutely mind blowing… you want the real deal umami, not “the easy-way-out” MSG… you give Topolompo a shot and yes! Bullseye!

The black cod is probably one of the best if not the best Tel Aviv has to offer.

✅Variety of interesting dishes
✅Mind blowing flavors
✅Attention to food plating and detail

➖Pricey
➖The restaurant design, furniture and general ambience don’t match the amazing quality of the food they serve
➖The service is not well trained enough for this level of food and prices

Great to go with friends, business meetings and maybe dates (preferably for dinner).
Place and food are luxurious (and price) but all worth it. There are 2 ways to order. One, order by yourself with their menu. Second, the waitress will ask questions according to your taste and budget, and then they will be the one to decide which food to bring you. We chose 500nis per person. We got 7 foods in total and we are super full! Service is super great. All 5 stars!
Good food , spicy as requested. Fast service and fair prices.
Went here as a non native speaker after a mentally and physically draining day. The staff was very welcoming and made me feel at home. They were having a great time and it really lifted my spirits. Food was very good, maybe not 5 stars, but there is more to the experience than just food or cost.
Zozobra is a kind of Asian mix Kitchen. Nothing fancy, but it is excellent for a casual dinner or launches break. You will get your dish fast, it will be fresh and delicious. You will sit together with other people, so don’t expect privacy.
TL;DR its another oriental eatery, just more expensive because its in TLV.

The place sits at the base of the Hagag building, a short walk from the nearest train station and bus stops, just outside the Sarona area.
I was part of a group that gathered at the place, and we each ordered as we came in. The service is VERY good - all the waitresses were very nice and helpful, recommend dishes and were quick with our plates, always noticing we had enough to drink.
The place has minimal decoration, and we noticed the music only when then lowered the volume so we were able to talk.

The food is nice, but nothing to write home about: I ordered a bowl of ramen, which was poured right in front of me (the broth), but the other ingredients felt a bit stale or dry. Other had sushi, which left them wanting afterwards. The second dish I've ordered (noodles with beef and veggies) was lovely, even though it was overflowing with monosodium glutamate.

And of course, since this is the heart of Tel-Aviv, it was expensive.

The experience wasn't bad - it just was not that good, to justify the price.
In short:
The food is OK, the service is less then OK the price is like 2 star michlan
restaurant and atmosphere of cheep club.
Long story:
We were a big table (8 peaple). We have taken the suggestion of the waitress to have a tasting manue according to what we like.
The service:the waitress were nice but the service was slow, we waited about 20 minutes between each dish (about 5 in total).we ordered wine, but after poring the wine to the glass they have taken the bottle and put it out of reach and we needed to ask multiple time to riffle the glass until we asked to have the bottle on the table because it was very annoying.
The food: the food was OK, verity of dished with Thai influence in total the food was beautifully and tasted nice but nothing to special.
The atmosphere:
I think this is the worst thing in the experience, the restaurant it self is beautiful but they played load Trans music that was just awful, especially for high end restaurant.
The price: very high, we payed 1600 ils for about 5 courses with 3 bottles of wine (for 8 people).
Excellent food and service! I went to the Sderot Yehudit location to pick up my food and realized there that I ordered to a different location by accident. The server, Avi, was so helpful and called Wolt and management for me to figure out a solution, and with the help of his boss, Asaf, they coordinated making me an order on the spot so I wouldn’t need to go to a second location, saving time and stress! I am also gluten free and they made sure to prepare my food carefully which means so much :) Highly recommend!
This Asian restaurant serves the BEST asian cuisine in Jaffa, if not in Israel! We were 7 in our group and the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Natalie and led to our table. Gave us the menus and waited patiently to get our orders.

While we wait for our food, she brought 2 free appetizers so we can munch on something - their bread with homemade hummus (really delicious) and breaded cauliflower and cucumber with its own sauce.

If you have tried Asian cuisine before, you may be familiar with the name of the dishes and may look the same as you have tried before BUT, do not make the mistake of thinking that ALL Asian food taste the same, we got all the ones we knew and they all never tasted familiar, each dish presented a unique taste and texture!!! From fried rice with shrimp, fried fish, sushi salad, buttered calamari and shrimp, egg rolls and to top it off, their on the house coconut dessert --- every dish was top notch!!!

Thank you for making our first time trip to Jaffa a fantasic experience at your restaurant! Kudos to the chef and staff of Jasia!
Good food. Our server was great with attention to small things usually skipped over by most servers.
Fake food at a fake Japanese restaurant. If you like japanika and love to pay 3 times the price that’s your place. Sushi full of mayonnaise like Israelis seams to love it. 0% Japanese Cousine.
Some awesome dishes, some surprisingly bad 😔 very expensive comparing

Awful service

Good ambiance
Ok food, served very fast. The first and main dishes were served together - we weren't warned.
The wings for first dish were nice, but not enough sauce and a bit cold.
The ramen wasn't that good.
The wok was good.
A bit dissaponting but we will give it another chance.
Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Food is delicious and the vibes are cool.
Tables are close to one another with less privacy.
Location is strategic but no private parking.
This isn't our first time in Jasia restaurant, but eventime we eat there we really enjoy the quality of the food, it's the tastiest Asian food in the area, they are generous with their serving sizes, the most welcoming owners we have ever met very friendly down to earth people, the owner even went and made our meals himself to make sure we enjoy every bit of it.
The staff is also very professional, friendly and amazing really.
You might go in having a bad day, but for sure you'll get out with a smile on your face having had a nice experience, I'm sure you'll enjoy the rest of your day! 😍
Although i didn't get a chance to take pictures of all what we had but some of the dishes I did..
Food was tasty, I liked it. But service was a little bit bad. They forgot about our cocktails, twice after we reminded about this. So this is was bad. Hope this place will be better next time.
This place is wonderful. The food is outstanding. The serving staff are so friendly.
Omri recommended me,
Thai Won Leh orange egg noodles, beef strips, onions, green beans, celery, peas & smoked cherry tomatoes in sesame garlic dashi sauce.
It's just a bit spicy. Just enough for dinner and delicious.
At this place recommended sharing dishes.
Great food. Friendly service. Ambiance needs help. Filthy bathrooms.

We ordered and shared two vegan dishes: the tofu Szechuan and the Shausing tofu. The Shausing didn’t make me sing, but the Szechuan dish was soooo good! The flavor was balanced and had a bite to it. The cooks really knew how to put this delicious dish together. It reminded me of dishes I’ve had in Vancouver BC - it’s that good.

The service was friendly and courteous. The waitress was real sweet, which is a switch from what TLV used to churn out.

The ambiance was a little rough. The kitchen is right there in the restaurant, and all you can hear is the clanging and hissing of the cooking. On top of that, the music that night was a playlist made by disco school dropouts - the management may think it’s cool, but it’s cheap and trashy.

Although the indoor and outdoor seating areas were kept clean and tidy, the bathroom was a mess (not to mention tricky to enter, through a Star Trek-inspired sliding door). In such a quality and pricey restaurant I expect no less than pristine bathrooms that smell great.

I am always surprised by how restaurant managers don’t make the connection between proper hygiene and appetite.

All in all - a very good experience.
Excellent restaurant! Every dish had something special in it. Interesting combination of flavors and a nice variety. The cocktails were great too. We really enjoyed the food and the service.
Disgustingly unprofessional and rude staff.
Happily got into a screaming match simply because we dared enter their restaurant and try to pass through to be able to enter the building that the door was locked to. Nevermind the restaurant was absolutely empty! (so we weren't really bothering anybody) nevermind that we had a bunch of bags and a baby in a pram and asked to politely let us through since (had she not stood right there blocking the way screaming at us) it would have taken LITERALLY 20 seconds to leave the premises.
Worst small minded people I've ever encountered, and it would have costed them nothing!
I'm almost upset because when we passed by my husband said we should remember it and we passed through so we could take a look and make plans to come eat there.
NOW THAT WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN EVEN IF THE FOOD WAS FREE AND THEY PAID US!
STEER CLEAR.
From what I understand the food is just as disgusting and diluted as their attitude so you won't miss much.
Tasty as always. For kids (like mine) eat Sushi ask for regular Maki not inside out.
Nice neighborhood sushi place. The sushi is ok, I also recommend the panko Shnitzel.
Really enjoyed the sushi bowl which had a good amount of salmon and tasted very fresh. The Pad Thai was pretty good for Israel though not super authentic.
In one word - WOW! I think the pictures speak for themselves… every dish was perfectly planned and designed to the last detail. It was delicious and thoughtful, no doubt worth the money. The waitress was very kind and friendly. There was even good music. Bonus tip- come to lunch, there is 15% on the food menu!
Last time I visited Israel I had a great experience before Covid. This time both me and my friends were disappointed. The food wasn't fresh and had a weird taste. The salmon sushi was of poor quality. Also, the manager was very rude. The only good thing to say is that their prices are reasonable, but I prefer to pay more for a good quality dinner..not worth it. We went to another place to have a second dinner.
Great looking place, food is just OK, nothing great. We ended up returning the steam roll because the meat was chewy
Upscale, gourmet Indian food. We went with Chefs choice and the sommelier paired our dinner with an excellent red and white wine. We had a mix of meat and vegan dishes varying in spiciness and flavor. I will certainly be back.
Every time I visit Tel Aviv I get excited about the food. I have eaten in so many fantastic places, and without doubt one of my favourite restaurants is Taizu. Asian fusion where the fish, meat and desserts are all just amazing. Musts are the dumplings, fresh fish to eat wrapped in lettuce, and their version of lamb kebab. As for the desserts …just make sure you leave enough room! The one thing letting this place down is that the service, while not bad, is not the best, for example, forgetting things more than once, and no apologies for doing so. But overall, for the joy it gives the tastebuds, it has to get 5 stars! Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent food with great food and stylish ambience. The restaurant provided a complimentary appetizer trio of tahini with a splash of sweet and sour sauce, yogurt, pickled vegetables, and bread. To my surprise, the fusion of flavors worked very well together. I ordered the massaman curry (which came with basmati rice flavored similarly to a biryani). The entree was delicious and curry portion was substantial (although I ended up needing to order some extra white rice).

The service was prompt and friendly, with easy communication in English. The restaurant and bar are well-designed with a relaxing music choice. I would highly recommend trying out this place if in the area!
This was our second visit to Nini Choo. This time we went with friends.
We shared a number of terrific starters: large crispy vegetarian spring rolls, tempura vegetables, sushi, meat gyoza, and a beef ban (a bun with a steamed roll). We had beer and a pitcher of warm Saki. Coincidentally, three of us selected the same main course, a wok dish with broad rice noodles, mushrooms and beef. All the dishes were tasty and fun. Our friends haven't stopped thanking us for introducing them to this restaurant.
Parking in a garage across the street, with a discount for patrons of the restaurant. There is also a takeout counter.
Very nice decor & music set the atmosphere. We enjoyed a selection of cocktails, sushi rolls and great service. Prices are on the high side but we'll definitely come back.
Street parking, disabled and children friendly, plenty manu choices, fresh food, great service, severe prices for Tel Aviv. Toilets need improvement-more light and cleaning. I recommend.....
After some good recommendations, I decided to taste and it amazed me.
For dinner you can choose the options, the portions are small, so we can taste different experiences. Or, if you prefer, the waiter can set your order, just telling him/her what you like and dislike.
The sommelier is there to enrich you experience and explains the best options for you and your order.
It's not a budget option, but considering the quality of everything that I order, I believe it worth it pretty much.
When we arrived the staff were really helpful and friendly and helped us to choose dishes.

We ordered a salad, steamed bun, three sushi dishes and one dessert.

The salad and the buns weren't anything special.
All three sushi dishes and the desserts we ordered were delicious and unique.

When we wanted to order a dessert it took around 15 minutes for the staff to come.
It also took them around another 15 minutes after we asked for the check.

The food is decent but we expected for more for this price.
Great kosher place,
We did a delivery and they were a bit late but gave us a great service and compensation.

Options for pregnant women, Vegi and vegan option, just let them know a head and they will take care of it.
A great branch of Giraffe grill. Sushi was delicious as well as the sinta noodles. Sitting both outsie and out, very good service.
OMGGGG OMGGGG OMGGGG
You just need to stop everything you are doing and go to JASIA right now!!!!!
This is one off the best restaurants I have ever been!
The food was so incredible that I was no able to talk at all.
I ordered the shrimps with the mash potatoes and it felt like heaven😍 my sister ordered noodles with entrecôte and she didn’t let me try it because she wanted all for herself. We split together a sushi roll with cheese. It was delicious.
The staff was so nice, kind, lovely and incredible they gave us some on the house dishes that was so good as well. We even got Malabi on the house that was the best one I have ever eat.
So really, you have to go to JASIA.
It is incredible
Great choice of Asian dishes . If you like spicy noodles that’s the place . The Philippine spice noodles are my favorite.

The dessert is amazing - we tried the chocolate crunch and this is very tasty ...

Service is very attentive and nice. Try to sit at the bar - the bar tenders might offer a chaser ...
Amazing dining experience! Went to Taizu on Indian night Sunday. All the dishes were nothing less than amazing. Portions are really generous and all very tasty. Service is great and the whole atmosphere is very pleasant. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an upscale restaurant.
Maybe a coincidence maybe its their habitus but the food i ordered was undigestible and puke provoking.
I ordered a chicken sate which was a bit bland, taste wise. As if the cooker was trying to drown the titanic once again, that is always a warning sign of a "hiding chef". The egg noodles were "al dente", in a very Dante Hellish style - raw for all the bad reasons, or simply uncooked and very un-chewy, yet the gravy was gooey, sour and bland. The chicken was not "sate" on the grill but rather halfcocked in this strange gravy which lead to the food being puked out 3 times on my way home.
To be fair, that was my first time there (and probably the last)
So it might have been a bad coincidence which doesn't reflect on all their food but that is my experience.
Service was a little dim and dark but ok.
A very nice asian restaurant. We went there for lunch and has a very nice meal. We sat at a long table, very close to other people so that felt a little crowded. The service was quick and gracious, and the menu is pretty diversed but basic. All the food was really tasty and we enjoyed it very much.
Good lunch, very tasty and satisfying for a decent price
A good Asian Restaurant with good service and tasty food.

Food is a bit too sweet/salty/faty but overall a good tasty choice for asian food.
