10 Best Mediterranean restaurants in Turkey

This is the place you must have to go either you’re on a trip or Turkish people.

The place is nice but most at all : the owners are so sweet ! They talked about the legacy of the place and how they used to cook for students.

The food is homemade and it taste very good ! The service is warm and friendly.

It’s next to the Main Street but it’s quite calm at lunch time (on a Thursday)

They truly deserve their 5 stars in each topics.

İki çeşit yemek ve 1 çeşit yancı (salata veya Cacık) 125₺. Gayet lezzetli ev yemekleri yapıyorlar. Çok muhabbete girmenizi tavsiye etmem ancak sıcakkanlı bir atmosfere sahip. Lezzet olarak beğendim ve mutlaka tekrar geleceğim.

This is a family-friendly restaurant, which is also great for couples and friends.

Food: The food is delicious - choose a dish with meat as well as a recommended salad on the side. It came in good time as we didn't have to wait much.

Service: The service provided is above average - they offered us their homemade special halvah with strawberry flavor as well as some Turkish tea on the house.

Atmosphere: The balcony has a great view of Hagia Sophia, which can also be seen in one of the videos. The other side of the restaurant is not a balcony, however, still got a great view of The Blue Mosque aka Sultanahmet Mosque.

Location: The restaurant is within the perimeters of Sultanahmet area as everything is reachable on foot.

122tl/$3 for a coke.... 06.13.24 dry piece of steak soggy fries.. not much to say.. the view is great. If that means you should pay for that then fine.

I wanted to like this place since it looked busy… but had the WORST overpriced pizza I ever had.
Restaurants next doors same pizza cost half the price. I ordered the margarita pizza with olives. $425 lira. Pizza was dry, burnt, too thin and had 0 flavor. I’m sure they are serving frozen pizzas.

Few places nearby it cost 200-200 lira and probably taste 100x better.

This place is great for lunch, the food was amazing and the service was brilliant. This place is next to Seven Hills which is PACKED to the brim. I’d recommend coming here instead as it has almost identical views with better food and service. The house wine was delicious, as was the chicken skewer and their house salad. Top notch, thank you!

Superb restaurant with a good and kind service. Also the food was excellent. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

Good vibes and ambiance.  Worth trying. Four of us had a dinner and enjoyed our choses.

I am afraid, toilets were in a mess . Till I visited the toilet, my opinion was very positive. Wc was a game changer.

My friend and I were wanting an upscale French dinner, and we decided to walk into Neni brasserie. We had an incredible experience. The service was very attentive, and we found it to also be very accommodating. The language barrier was health with, with grace, and we never felt cumbersome by speaking English. At one point we received the wrong dish due to a misunderstanding from the language barrier, and the staff immediately corrected the mistake and even sent over an additional dessert on the house at the end of our meal. The manager was lovely, and the food exceeded our expectations. The seafood linguine was a particular standout. Highly recommend Neni Brasserie.

Arriving just before closing time at this restaurant, we were greeted with outstanding friendliness from the staff who graciously took our order. The food was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised by extra side dishes that we hadn't ordered. The portions were generous, fresh, and incredibly delicious. To top it off, we were treated to a complimentary homemade lemonade, a delightful end to our meal. Thank you for the excellent service and memorable dining experience!

After being very happy with my visits here in May I was sure to return again a number of times during my October visit to Oludeniz. Upon arriving at the beach I was welcomed back like an old friend. Ahmet remembered my name and was always very polite and helpful. Sun beds are very comfortable and well spaced out with parasol included. End of season offer beds were 100TL per person but free if your hotel has an agreement with the beach.
The water in the lagoon was shallow and still, great for paddling. The water was clear and could see small and bigger fish swimming around. The sea was much warmer than the pools. Was also great for watching the paragliding without the risk associated with the public beach.
Food and drink service available from sunbeds and a undercover restaurant area perfect for a break from the sun. This visit I tried the sugar Beach burger, hawian burger and hawian pizza and all were excellent and cooked fresh in the open kitchen.
3pm to 6pm is happy hour where all cocktails are reduced.
It was lovely to speak to Dinçer, Çağla and Ayşe again working in the bar and restaurant area, definitely like catching up with old friends. Would recommend a visit here to all my family and friends especially those with children as there is even a play area and open grass area for games, pedalos, kayaks and paddleboards are available to hire and seemed very popular.
I had a look around the onsite accommodation of the chalets and tiny houses and all looked very clean and welcoming.
Can't wait to return next year.

There are an abundance of great restaurant options in Cappadocia but Keyif restaurant isn’t one of them. The food was poor with the pizza I ordered having a copper taste to it. At the end of the meal, when I politely reminded the server that I was due change after waiting some time for it, I received a sneer and a condescending remark. Definitely a miss and I hope this restaurant takes the opportunity to improve its customer experience.

Tip ... plenty of small fish here so take some bread along for them.

Very cute place staff polite. Food tasty. Pizza was very good. Humus awesome. Prices reasonable. You should visit if you are in the city centar.

I asked on my last day if they have their own Playlist. They don't. I have no idea what they were listing to but I absolutely loved it.

On our last day I found out some folk visiting from other hotels were leaving without paying for food & drinks. RUDE and so disrespectful.

We ordered their special, lamb chops on pottery. It tasted very good. The lamb was soft and the sauce was very good for bread. The service was also good. Thank Adnan for serving us.

The service was great. We ordered some mustard with onion as an appetizer and katmer as dessert, both of them really delicious.

From the first contact to the last, there is a high level of interest and importance. The rates are really fair, and they serve any type of meal you choose.

The dessert we desired was presented so beautifully that I will never forget the moment we couldn't wait to enjoy it.

This is a great place for delicious home cooked meals. The wonderful ladies who run the restaurant are super kind too. They take excellent care of their customers.

Located in the centre of the city. Mostly vegan and vegan friendly options are available here.

Falafel wrap was tasty, meals are prepared pretty well.

The waiters were so kind (the ones are on upstairs).

Prices are affordable, we would like to visit again.

My friends and I have been in Turkey for 10 days and made a point of trying something new every time, this is the first place we've returned to repeatedly because the food is stunning and amazing value, service is excellent and atmosphere is so relaxing. The wine is wonderful too! ❤ photos don't do it justice!

Great wine choices. Lots of local ones to choose from, and the ones we had were super. Food also really good. Traditional Turkish. Big portions, great dips and lots of very good bread.

Have an extended visit in this area so tried over 30 restaurants, if you’re looking at this review it means you know that this area is all about restaurants and cafes. This is the BEST restaurant I’ve tried thus far. Definitely not cheap but totally worth it. Very clean. Food was very delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing and the staff members are very friendly. All waiters looked very well groomed and wore clean uniforms (I’m sure you know what I mean if you’re visiting restaurants in this area). The managers were very nice to us, spoke English and constantly approached us to check up, which is so rare in this area because waiters are salaried so they don’t really care if you like their service or not. I learned that tipping is not mandatory/expected in Turkey but this place did charge a tip on our tab (well worth it).
