Great touring company. Vendor we bought our tickets from wasn't pushy, he was incredibly friendly and insightful. My family loved the tour!
Our driver was Kris and guide was James. They were great! We did the night tour. When I purchased the tickets I did view the itinerary. Having never been to DC I thought the toir would help knock out some of the sightseeing. It kind of did but we ended up revisiting the same sights so we had time to enjoy them. They really are not far apart.
I recently had my first time riding the Roosevelt Island Tramway, and I was blown away by the views! The tram crosses over the East River, giving you stunning 360-degree views of Manhattan and Queens. It was a truly unique experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.

The tram ride is only a few minutes long, but it's worth every penny. The views are simply incredible, and you can get some great photos from the tram. If you're looking for a unique way to see Manhattan, the Roosevelt Island Tramway is definitely the way to go.

Here are some additional details about my experience:

The tram departs from two stations: one in Manhattan and one on Roosevelt Island.
The fare is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children.
The tram runs every 15 minutes, from 6am to 2am.
There is a wheelchair lift available on the tram.
Such a cool ride! Absolutely gorgeous views and a very fun, quick and smooth ride. All for the price of a bus ticket! Can't go wrong. Bring cash to buy a bus ticket, because you can't tap with your phone to get on like the rest of the MTA.

Roosevelt Island is also pretty cool. There's no traffic lights, and there's no garbage trucks. The garbage is sent through an enormous and complex vacuum tube system. That's cool!
Fantastic experience on the moonlit moments nighttime tour. Our guide Sally and driver Godfrey were the best hosts. The AC and water on the bus helped make us more comfortable in the heat (yes, even at night it was hot and we're not used to that!). We learned so much on the three hour tour and saw many places that I doubt we would have on our own. As a visitor, I appreciated all the little tips about getting around. Would recommend!
I gave a 5 start because the view was wonderful, the station was clean and the process to get in the tram es easy. But it was very hot inside the tram🚊 I think is manageable because is a short distance, but I think they should find a better way to cool the interior.
Our driver Kris and tour guide James were awesome. James really explained things well and was very knowledgeable. It was a very fast paced tour but we still got to see a lot and had a great time.
My dad and I visited Washington DC this week, and did the evening monuments tour on Monday. Sally was our guide, and Godfrey was our bus driver. Both did an exceptional job. They were both very personable and helpful. Sally was quite knowledgeable. My dad and I both agreed that this tour was a highlight of our trip. This is a great, efficient way to see the monuments. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the DC area.
We did the night 3 hour tour with Sally and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We have done many a bus type tour over the years all over the world and most are terrible or worse. This one was awesome. Expert guided. Perfect placement of stops. Time at a couple seemed off but hey its 3 hours so depending on traffic you get a little more or less. Very happy with everything and highly recommend this tour.
Our 8th grade DC trip was vastly improved by Pat Abler's knowledge, passion, and willingness to connect with our students. She was full of interesting facts and stories that made our 8 hours together at Arlington and multiple DC Monuments an enjoyable and memorable experience for both the students and chaperones alike. Going to DC? Don't go it alone, get a great guide like Pat!
Judy was the best!! Thoroughly enjoyed both tours we had with her and how much knowledge she has about DC! Give her raise!
Mr. History was awesome! I did the Moonlight Tour and was not disappointed. Plenty of time to take photos and look at the monuments. Mr. History gave great context to all the sites and made sure everyone was back on the bus before leaving any sites. I would highly recommend the Moonlight Tour! Great time and met some great people!
Amazing, literally the best part of our whole trip! Informative, knowledgeable, funny! The ride was wonderful, the commentary really helps you appreciate what you’re seeing and the bus was super cozy. It was raining and cold but we could not be happier with our ride, we went on January 22nd (last week) so whom ever runs the place please pass along our best regards!!! Only complaint, it was raining so we wanted to make sure they weren’t going to cancel, called the phone number listed all day and never got an answer which was extremely frustrating. Completely made up for in our tour though, we loved it!
Great experience. Thank you for helping us out last minute.
"Lucky" was our driver. She was amazing! Fitting that we had a female driver during women's history month. So knowledgable and fun. She handled other driver's rudeness with grace and integrity. It truly takes a talent to be able to drive through busy city streets, conduct an informative tour and keep everyone safe. Would do this tour again and recommend to all!
Best tour guide of New York City. If you want to have fun and learn lot of things while visiting the beautiful city that is New York, Ibrahima is the perfect guide. I recommend.
I went as part of a school trip a few years back and this tour was one of the most memorable parts of the whole trip. Ibrahima’s knowledge of the city and his vibrant personality combined for a very memorable experience.
We took a tour with Alex as our driver and Ibrahim as our tour guide. Alex picked us up exactly on time at the cruise terminal after a 7 day cruise. There were 13 of us, we then proceeded to pick up the tour guide in downtown New York. Ibrahim with Alex navigating the unbelievable traffic gave us a wonderful overview of New York. some of our party has never been, while Some have been many times ~ this was the very best way to end our vacation.Thank you Ibrahim and Alex. I've done several tours with Mark of New York Walking Tours. The last was to a section of Manhattan's Lower East Side, an area I had never been to and didn't even know it existed. We started out with great (and inexpensive) Dim Sum in a real, non-commercial Chinese area. We had a pleasant walk to the east through a surprisingly quiet and peaceful area of lower Manhattan. We got a tour of the historic Eldrige St. Synagogue, built in the 19th century and fairly recently restored. Walked on to the area of the Henry Street Settlement. Mark was knowledgeable about the history of both locations. He is a friendly, down to earth person with lots of knowledge about NYC. Mark is particularly well-versed in the architectural history of New York. Hoping to take his Upper Harlem tour at some point.
