Had an amazing experience with my kids and family. We had so much fun. Every station we went to was different from the races to face painting and the pumpkin, which I thought was nice. Getting rides through the whole farm was pretty nice. The corn maze was nice following the sign and reading about Jack. The best for last picking your own vegetables with your kids was a nice experience as well. Food was good but price loved the French fries.
Such a perfect quaint farm!! Family-friendly! There’s good amount of parking. There is no entry fee. You can pay 25cents to feed goats, alpacas, sheep, and chickens! or $1 for a bag of oats! They have a cute little market with different fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, pickles and pickled foods, drinks, candy, honey!!!! You can even pick your own berries depending on the time of year. This is a great stop for the pumpkin patch with some great opportunities for photos with you and your family!!
Such a cute fun place to spend the day. My daughter(24) and I had such a good time feeding the animals and picking the fruits and vegetables. The ride to the different parts of the fields was fun too!
Great laid back time for the family for a very reasonable price.
Great concept and play space. My kids really enjoyed the animals and the fun educational toys. It was also an easy ride on the bus from the upper west side. We added in lunch and a quick walk to a fantastic local playground with water to round out our afternoon.
Pretty expensive for what it is but a great way for kids to learn about animals in a healthy environment. I like the idea of it, I think it's great this family ranch, but all admission gets you is entry to view the animals. To feed them you have to buy a basket for $6. To ride the tractor or excavator it's $5. Panning starts at $10. It's fun for a once in a while or one time thing to do. Everyone was kind and the kiddo enjoyed it. The animals were healthy and happy. The food was raw vegetables not seeds or something less than nutritious so it's a better experience for kids to learn about animals. The llamas were adorable! I think what they are doing is great but for me it was spendy for an hour of fun.
It is a beautiful place, my daughter really enjoyed the little train and the animals
Our 3 year old son attended camp at Art Farm and absolutely loved it! They had a wonderful curriculum with a mix of science, cooking, animals, art, outdoor play, and music. It was extremely well run/organized with great staff and communication. Would recommend 100%.
We have been having my daughter's birthday party at Sandy Hill Farm the past 6 years. All the guests seem to love it, including the adults. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are awesome & the kids get to interact with the animals in several ways. Highly recommend!
They had some difficulty with the system at purchase but the staff was very accommodating and helpful l. In particular Samantha was very helpful with the rides we went on. We went just after lunch. We walked down from the train station that's right there. We had a great time and will be back.
I took my 4 year old during the week. It was like a hidden gem tucked away. The animals were well taken care of, very interesting to talk about, especially with care takers. They answered any and all questions my son had about the animals. While we were disappointed that the train was out of commission for quite some time, we had a great time. The farm is easily walkable, including kids. I recommend checking it out!
This is a must visit with your kids. There alot to do here. Lots of exploring and things to do outdoors.
This is a quaint little farm nestled inside of Watkins Park. It featured your typical farm animals like rabbits, chickens, cows, and a pig. The whole place takes about 15-20 minutes to explore if you walk at a normal pace. It's perfect for small kids and toddlers, and It's free to get in.
Although the kids have a great time here so we do keep coming back, the prices to just walk in (with nothing to do) is outrageous. Then you have to buy baskets of vegis to feed animals, train ride, gem mining, pony rides, excavators and tractor tickets on top of it all. The strange part is since adults don’t have anything to do here is that adult entrance fees are even higher than a kids. I think they should lower the initial entrance fee which only allows you to walk and see pics and goats and play in a playground which you could do at park for free next door
It’s was great. It’s small but kids will love it. I think the price was right due to the fact you get to be up close and feed them. But it’s CASH a ONLY. If the kids want to ride it’s paid separately. Over all my 5 yrs love it .
We had such a great time at Sandy Hill celebrating my daughter’s third birthday! Cindy was great to work with and very easy to communicate with. Her staff was so wonderful! You could tell they are accustomed to working with a bunch of crazy children on a regular basis. Thank you so much for making the day a great memory!
My son is a animal lover so I take him to a lot of animal farms but this farm was different than all the others. It was very spacious and clean farm, interiors are beautiful, the staffs are very friendly. There was a magic show that was awesome. Wish the train ride was open. The Giraffe experience was the best. Absolutely loved it……..highly recommend it!
I took my daughter here for an Easter egg hunt and I was not disappointed. It was very affordable to get in. The food was affordable. We took pictures with the Bunny and he was very friendly. We got to feed and Pat the animals.
We came for a kid cooking class. We baked a delicious strawberry cake and went to see the animals. It was very pleasant time . My toddler was really proud of his cake and had it for desert. It was yummy.
Beautiful environment lovely land
The owner is a nice lovely person
I was waiting with me son playing on the property as a nice young woman was still giving lessons
Then the owner of the property came up and introduced herself as we were watching her feed the horses so nice and gentle.
the woman that was giving lessons took my son on The trail she was a very nice, compassionate, caring, loving person
very on point teaching him how to ride.
We had such a great experience and I am definitely going back.
My son was so happy he kept asking me when we are going back.

I have been here a few times and its a fun place. If you loke animals or farm stuff this is a good place. You can feed some animals, there is a playground for kids, a gift shop and more. Highly recommended for a school trip or a family day. The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back.
Excellent place for the entire family. Very spacious, CLEAN and staff very ATTENTIVE & POLITE. Petting zoo very well distributed and animals in great conditions. Washing stations everywhere in the entire park. Hay rides, milking cow (fake) sitting and picnic tables in the entire park. Multiple stationary tractors to use by children and even a real Bulldozer where teach you how to use it! It’s amazing!
You can bring your own water and snacks but the Food kiosk sells everything and the Hot dogs are delish! Very affordable by the way. Portable bathrooms are checked very often and are very clean. By the way, Free parking!! This place it’s really a very good one to spend a nice day with the loved ones. Highly recommended

Excellent place for celebration. Clean, organized, welcoming environment. Excellent customer service.
One of four Anne Arundal County Regional Parks, Kinder Farm Park is well maintained and safe for kids, moms, and families. Animals, playgrounds, sports fields. All good.
We had a wonderful experience!
