Trail is nicely paved with sections of boardwalk and asphalt with center painted dividing line. Trail is kept nice and clean and you feel safe. Very peaceful place to walk.

Wish they would have benches along the trail too at certain intervals but I digress

They have signage about the park along the trail, though these signs were in bad shape with how they’ve been taken care of over the years. I seen two turtles crossing the path in my one visit. The wetlands around must be very active with turtle wildlife. Will visit again.

Love this trail. From Baldensburg to the Navy Yard scenic river beauty.

River polluted, shore line garbage. But the vista is great. And the Park Service are doing their job in getting the place cleaned up.

Pretty clean water now so the the fishing is good for sport ... also has plenty aggressive snakehead fish.

I love having this so close to our house. It isn't as heavily used as some trails in the area, which is nice. Today, was a cold, wet, dreary day and I had the trial to myself (if you don't count the deer that I spooked)

a beautiful and scenic park. Lots of community events offered here. Great spot for canoeing, and fishing. sizeable playground and pavilion for events. We had a great time for the festival's offered here

Great trails...a bench periodically would be nice.
