I have been before, but this was the first time as a vendor. it was a good experience, but cold. because it was cold, traffic was low. despite that, we had a decent turn out. there are lots of cool studios and artist down there. definitely work checking out. Also ate at the Brookland Pint - that was really good too!

we paddled from further up river to here. we just used it for its boat launch purposes. overall, the park was pretty from what we could tell from the parking lot. the road in is a little rough in places, but it was a great spot to see at the end of a 12 mile paddle! in Nov the credit card pay machine (for boat launch fee) was out of order.

nice shaded area to pull over on a bike ride and hydrate. However, it looks like there had been a party there over the weekend and it was cleaned poorly. there were bottles everywhere, popped balloons and confetti too. looks like a nice playground- shame it was so trashy.

This place was pretty. There was decent traffic on the water, but not so much that it wasn't enjoyable. Only one guy on a big boat who didn't slow down and created wakes that dumped water in the boat. Shores were filled with little crabs. It was a good paddle.

Cool that it is close by. Kinda a narrow trail. Lots of up and down with downed logs over the trail. It was really difficult for our elderly dog - but it was nice had it just been me.
