Referee room for ice rink is a glorified closet with an awful stench and numerous rat traps. Trash littered all over the floor and now they are storing a bike and desk in there. At this point just have officials dress up outside in the freezing cold.

Very nice Ice Hockey facility. The day was a bit cold, it felt a bit colder like -4°F but the kids had a great time. The facility was clean and warm inside. I was impressed by the amenities they had for the visiting teams, including donuts and hot coffee. I look forward to coming back here again to play.

Ice could have been better but it's early in the season and weather on an outdoor rink is always a challenge. It created a unique experience for the girls and the setting was amazing. Would love to have the CCC ladies join us in Raleigh for some more games. Great bunch of families on both sides of the balcony.

I am not a member but I was there as a guest of one of the members. Such a beautiful country club with traditional set up , extremely polite and nice staff and beautiful facility. Some of the areas, especially the bathrooms could use a bit of upgrading.

I once was a valet here, and in the semi-circular driveway down the street at Columbia Country Club. I parked cars for both for years. I loved it. I met a lot of nice folks and the staff treated us exemplary. Those, were the days! But, 15 October 2022. Doorman. Accosted by him during the late evening, early night. Short of stature, seems to be ethiopian, elderly gent who wears glasses, not much weight on him. He bows, jokes, gregarious with people who seem to be members, upper crust, anglican. If you drive up, you already seem as though you are 'just a servant', if you seem to have stood out in the sun and are somewhat tanned. He shouts at you, orders you around, gets you 'out of the way' of the more 'notable' looking persons who seem to 'belong'. Demands you move out of their way, tries to get your attention from 80 feet away by shouting, slapping his hands together to make a loud sound to get your reactive response like a summons, begins to tell you what to do as if you work for him, walks up and asks "why are you behaving like this" when you ignore his rude, aggressive, obtrusive denigration of you because he only courteously 'serves' those who 'belong' and 'deserve respect' due to perceived affluence, notoriety, of the member persuasion and a possessor of money. Disgusting two faced individual. I find that most prejudice in the service industry, is engaged by people 'of color' on other 'people of color' when they don't seem to have affluence, money, notoriety or aren't anglican american and will pay them, if they are nice, otherwise they won't be. And when it is found out some one is celebrity, sports figure etc, then, they get an apology by the mortified because the mortified 'didn't know' they have money and can purchase respect, not get it based on humanity alone, and humiliate people like this fellow who seems to believe you don't belong, can be addressed curt and you should be coming in the back door still. 'Clearly', don't belong and aren't a member so you don't get his contrived greeting, hospitality based on your not having money, or don't deserve the respect that 'those who belong do'. You just get ordered around, told to do something because he is the great director or he can 'identify with you' because you are profiled and addressed as 'hey man, move'. I'm sorry but people like this disgust me more than those who are overtly racist.

If I do these reviews, I do these for you, the public at large, fellow humanity. So you will know my experiences, aren't the only experiences, but they are mine and they did happened to me. So they could happen to you. Be aware, be leery and patronize those who deserve your humanity, because they still have theirs. Cheers!

I was attending a gala for a choral group named The Thirteen. It had been some time since I had visited the Club as a guest. It remains a lovely establishment. The food items provided to guests at the gala were wonderful and tastefully presented. Club personnel were unfailingly pleasant. The valet staff were especially friendly in their welcome and efficient in bringing the car to us at the end of the evening.

Everything first rate, especially the gardens!
Radios needed in rooms with serene classical music and better pictures on the walls.

One of a kind club. Chevy Chase is exquisitely maintained from head to toe and you would hardly believe it is only a few miles north of D.C craziness. You really get the sense of being at a very well respected and prestigious club upon arrival, and that feeling carries itself all thought the property from the beautifully maintained course to the lavish clubhouse and banquet hall.
