Sweetest little aunty selling Apom in Chulia Street. It’s a little dosa (appam) and is crispy.

Delightful little street store. The Apoms are a cross between love letters and the Indian apoms. And hand served by the Chef herself. Tasty little morsels.
Awesome little dessert crepe-like things - apom. They weren't too sweet. Just right. We ordered just two to try but then had to order more because they were so good. If we have time, we'll be back before we leave Penang.

Those who know me know I do not review often, but when I do, it's for a very good reason. This Apom stall is great, the lovely mademoiselle making those tiny crepes is adorable and her batter is simply delicious. Try and order as many as possible and get there before 9pm-9.15pm because she ran out of batter shortly after we had ordered today.

2 of us ordered 5 pieces — big regret because it wasn’t enough. Soft, thin, and crispy. Note that this stall shifts around. When I went there, it was situated along the road of Lebuh Carnarvon.
The egg waffles are hand-made one by one by the owner herself. Simply as there is no filing inside but it is unbelievably delicious!!
The stall is opposite to the night market and there is a long queue every night... or at least the 3 nights I visited there, during my 4-day trip.
