Coenties Slip

A nice little park right near the south ferry in the financial district off Wall st.
Quiet and usually empty at night. Great place to chill and take a breath.

If I ever am coming from the Lower East Side to the Staten Island Ferry on Whitehall St, which is a commute I often take on a at least weekly basis, sometimes in the past and really anytime in the present and future if I am on the M15 local or SBS-M15 select bus services Southwest route en route South Ferry Terminal, if the bus looks like it may not make the next scheduled ferry service to Staten island by the time the bus gets to the Fulton St Seaport bus stop, what I'll usually do is get off at the Wall St bus stop, and hang out at this park called Coenties Slip. It is a beautiful area with plenty of seating and is perfect for killing or wasting a good 5 to 25 minutes before or until the Staten Island Ferry on Staten island bound side is ready to board.

Nice hangout to lounge when weather permits.
