Outstanding in every aspect, I felt like i was in a bar in Italy. The vibe was relaxed and upbeat, the food was Michelin/white table cloth quality without the price tag, the cocktails were as good as I've ever had. The wine list is very approachable with varietals from regions all over Italy, the staff recommendations were excellent. Last but not least, the service was attentive, friendly, and informative. Let them guide you through the menu and you wont be disappointed. A definite hidden gem in Vancouver and highly recommend it.
Bar Corso is one of the most slept on spots in the city. The variety of options on the food menu, the quality of the ingredients and the thought that has been put into each dish. This is a must try for date night.
Came for happy hour,
Cocktail was quite yummy 😋 enjoyed it!
Food were really yummy but next time we would definitely only just order wagyu for 5!!! Tuna was alright(not very impressive); I like olive 🫒 one, and the nuts one is not special at all~
Will need to come back for more food to have better details about food!
But really liked the atmosphere! Quite and fun’
Waitress was super friendly and helpful too! Loving it! 😍

We chose Bar Corso for our date night, and it exceeded expectations!
The vibe was perfect, and the cocktails were top-notch—definitely order at least two per person! The espresso martini was a standout, incredibly fresh and creamy. We also sampled six different crostini, which were a delightful treat. The pâté was a unique experience; it was unusual but interesting. The ikura pasta was tasty but fairly standard. All in all, a great evening and a place we’ll be sure to revisit.

Absolutely amazing food. The wagyu beef crostini was incredibly savory. Every dish we tried was up to our expectations and delicious.
We tried some crostinis, patate, insalata, and Aglio and Olio di Mare pasta, strawberry basil, and aperol spritz.
Impeccable service. Our server was also very friendly, and accommodating.

Bar Corso offers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious food, expertly crafted drinks, and outstanding service. The menu features a range of flavorful dishes that consistently impress, complemented by a well-curated selection of beverages. The attentive and friendly staff enhance the overall experience, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. Whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Bar Corso delivers high-quality cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
Really fantastic pasta! Maybe the best we’ve had in Vancouver. Also, we came on Italian Day and the quality of the pasta was still very high, which was impressive considering how busy they were. Both pastas we had (the smoked tomato gnocchi and spaghetti ragú) were equally delicious, and definitely left us wanting to try more dishes on the menu. Highly recommend!
I couldn't help but notice that the food here looked absolutely amazing and full of promise. However, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The cocktails were tasty, but they weren't enough to convince me to return. It seemed like the crostino's were a big hit during happy hour.
Unfortunately I didn't find anything particularly impressive in what we ordered, so I can't make any recommendations based on that.
The service was friendly, although it did feel a bit rushed.

'A modern slice of Italy on Commercial drive. A fantastic cocktail and wine selection. The food is incredible and the ambiance is perfect for all occasions, especially late night.
•BISONTE - Bison striploin, medium rare, turnip & parmesan puree, balsamic jus & crispy rosemary.
•INSALATA - Varieties of radicchio from cropthorne farms, apple, spiced ricotta, mint & pistachio.
•CARPACCIO - Hiro waygu beef, lacto-fermented cherry tomato, parmesan reggiano.

We had an amazing time dining here at this restaurant. The food was unreal and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend checking out this awesome spot. We will be back again!
Terrible terrible service! It is a shame that the food and cocktails are both good but my friend and I are never going back there. We arrived there at 6:30 with a reservation. No one told us that there was going to be a time limit for our stay. What they did instead was coming to our table every few minutes (different servers) to ask if we were done. One male server even said to us ' I have been observing you and you guys were not picking at your food so I am gonna take the plates away ' and he did! My friend and I looked at each other and couldn't believe what we just heard. Then that was not the end of it, another girl came in and told us we had 20 mins when we still had drinks on our way. Then another one came and told us we had 7 mins. It is not our responsibility if they had made another reservation 1.5 hours after us. We could have turned around and left if we knew we only had 1.5 hours. But were we informed of that at any point? absolutely no! We asked to speak to the manager but none was around. Absolutely terrible service through and through.
Bar Corso has a small but tight menu that they serve up in a cozy and intimate restaurant space plus a sidewalk patio space (when weather permits). I am particularly enamoured with the cocktail selection at Bar Corso. All their cocktails are served as doubles and their Negronis are 3 ozs. The Ananas Negroni is a personal favourite and features el jimador tequila, pineapple infused campari, sweet vermouth. It is very well balanced and smooth. The single large ice cube is a nice touch.
The Salumi e Formaggi Alla Corso is Bar Corso’s take on a charcuterie board and it features a selection of imported meats and cheeses, house preserves, crostini, crackers. There was a large selection of house made pickles and 3 meats and 3 cheeses. It was a gorgeous platter and the perfect accompaniment for our cocktails.
Overall, a nice neighbourhood spot for solid eats and cocktails.

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was awesome. we had never been here before but my bf found it and decided to make a reso for us :) the food was awesome .. we got the wagyu tartare and albacore tuna crostinis to start and were blown away!! we then got the pomodoro and carpaccio (not pictured because we just had to eat it right away) which were both so amazing. i’m definitely a tomato girl so i really loved the tomatoes in both the dishes. we also got the pasta del giorno which was a bolognese with pine mushroom (we went on a friday)
the drinks we got were great too, and we finished off with a grappa flights which was definitely a choice considering i work tomorrow and my bf is going on a hike but it was still great!!!
our server bryden (brayden? brian? sorry it was a little loud and the grappa was hitting.) was awesome and super fun the whole time too. all the servers were very helpful though and i loved all their vibes.
the music was awesome too! definitely check this place out!!

This place is perfect for a leisurely afternoon of enjoying drinks and indulging in appetizers, especially during their happy hour. I particularly loved their crostini, especially the wagyu beef tartar crostino, perfectly complemented the drinking experience.
Bar Corso is a great spot for drinks and nibbles on the drive. Our server was excellent and friendly, and the vibe of the space is really cool. The cocktails were the highlight and paired well with the food options. I’ll definitely be back, especially for a winter bar evening.
