Hello everyone, I will be as transparent as possible with my comments on my visit with my 6 children and my wife to the Lego Discovery Center in San Antonio Tx on Jan 4, 2024: I bought the tickets once before without any problem. I got a price of $29USD per combo with Legoland and SeaLife. I did not add any other accessories that were offered to me online on the official Legoland website. I see previous comments that it is a very small place and the truth is that if it is, especially the store that I have found much larger stores in other cities that do not have a discovery center, perhaps expanding it and exposing the wide variety of models would help A lot for Lego lovers who, when going to a place like this, hope to buy some exotic models that you can't easily find elsewhere. The tour to the place is also small in itself, however, very fun. Those who toured it in 1 or 2 hours are not Lego lovers or fans, in our case we really enjoyed the tour, the replica of the city of San Antonio is very well represented. Build your Lego racing car test in the same case. There is a very fun Merlyn carousel that you can ride as many times as you want. There is a very expensive cafeteria, which saves you from trouble for little Lego lovers who want to spend as much time as possible in the place. There is a 4D theater that, although you need glasses to have a better view of the projected short film, the experience is good in general, they should consider giving disposable glasses to improve. It is small, yes, well organized, very friendly staff, expensive cafeteria, for Lego lovers 100 out of 100. Like lovers of other brands. If you don't like Legos, don't visit it, it's not for you! cheers
The discovery center is of a decent play size which could be explored in 3hrs. After the elevator ride, there is a small ride where kids and adults use laser guns to shoot characters on screens. Bags have to be placed on the hooks available or there are lockers to place valuables at the price of a quarter.
After the ride, there is a huge display of San Antonio city in LEGO bricks. The night view is as pretty as the day view. There are some interactive LEGO displays too.
Walk further in will be a big floor plan of a playground, cafe, creative workshop, 4D ride, kiddie plane ride, an area for toddler play, and areas for older kids to build and test out their LEGO builds.
There are plenty of seatings for adults to rest while watching the kids play. The layout of the center is well thought of.
After all the playing, enjoy shopping at the LEGO store. There have LEGO sets, keychains, stuff toys, and more. Kids and adults would be able to find something they like in the store.
I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Check out their website often for deals. I got the gift tickets for the same price as the timed tickets. The gift tickets allow customers to enter at any time and any day. There is less pressure as compared to timed tickets.

Only reason we went here because we got tickets from Wyndham tour. It's not worth $27 per person. There's a 4D ride without 3D glasses with screen quality so poor you hardly see anything. Only cool thing the city model in the night mode.
This place has so much to do!!! I really wasn’t expecting so much to be honest but definitely it’s a must see!! It’s fun for the whole family I can tell you that! I know I will definitely be going back very soon!!
Very neat experience for the little ones. Love how they have a little joy ride before you enter the venue. Great value and entertaining for the price. The staff were also very helpful.
Went on a Friday and there were no lines. At the most we waited 10min for the save the princess shooting ride.
Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely excited about legos. My little sister had a blast. We spent about 3 hours here. Could’ve easily spent more with the amount of activities available.
The cafe inside is very accommodating to dietary restriction. They even have vegan chicken nuggets.
Everything was well worth the price.

This place is a total rip-off. It's so expensive to enter and place is not worth it. Employees are so rude. Nothing is explained, and if you ask, they seem upset. Place is DIRTY, spells bad, and it's outdated. The theater shows a 4D movie without 4D glasses. Restrooms are so dirty. Never going back.
We had a pretty fun time, took my 2 younger kiddos to Legoland SA for an afternoon of fun and we were pretty pleased. This displays when you walk in are pretty cool, the fun and activities area isn’t very large and on a weekend it can turn into a real mad house, screaming kids and families in abundance. Be sure to bring your patience with long lines and massive amounts of people, over all tho for SA we enjoyed it. We’ll be back!
