If you have $21 to spare you can get this disgrace of a bacon cheeseburger or lack of a burger!! I think I paid $20 for the bread & $1 for the burger. My wife had a Buffalo chicken salad... pretty much lettuce, red onions, Tyson frozen chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce drizzled on it. Better off eating at A fast food spot.
I came here twice. First time it took a while to get my food. Service was to wish for. But i gave it a second chance. Took my siblings on a brunch. We waited more than 1 hr to get our food. A simple cup of water took for ever to get to the table. The food was ok nothing special. Steak and eggs came with a bland steak. I understand of they are un staffed but it was just a very unpleasant eating experience. Then theres is this older man server. His seems so rude and gives you the stink eye when you ask for something.
Everything about Crosstown was PERFECT! Our waitress was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was DELICIOUS! Definitely making this my go to spot in the Bronx
From the minute I walked in, I already knew I should have left. The waitress was giving this disgusting mean girl attitude when I tried explaining to her that I got the wrong order. The order had bacon which I couldn’t eat due to restrictions from surgery but she continued to argue with me. They still forced us to pay for food we didn’t even touch or eat. Don’t waste your time here.
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was totally delicious. The Bronx Burger was my favorite. Oh my Gosh! I am working up an appetite just thinking of it. The service was superb and the atmosphere was quite inviting. You have to give it a try! You will not be disappointed.
I came in while waiting for my car to be serviced. I got breakfast quesadilla and got soup left of pastry pieces to go. Great little place to visit. Fast service, polite servers, (they do wear ties and white shirts!) and the food tastes delicious. The owner was there and the place filled up fast!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crosstown Diner and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel right at home.
One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Rose, our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and displayed a genuine passion for ensuring a memorable dining experience. Rose went above and beyond to cater to our needs, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction throughout the meal.
Now let's talk about the food, because it was truly exceptional. The Benny waffle platter caught my attention, and boy, was it a treat for the taste buds. The combination of the perfectly cooked waffles, the richness of the hollandaise sauce, and the savory Canadian bacon worked together harmoniously, creating a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more.
Equally as impressive was the avocado mushroom, onion, tomato omelette platter. The omelette was perfectly fluffy, and the generous filling of avocado, mushrooms, onion, and tomato added a burst of freshness and earthy flavors. Accompanied by a side of crispy hash browns and toast, this dish was a hearty and satisfying breakfast option.
Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but the portion sizes were generous as well. Crosstown Diner certainly knows how to satisfy their customers' appetites.

Love going there to eat.
I have been going there since my son was 3 years old, and he is 31 now. The owners saw him grow up.
