The colors were beautiful and the light was ever changing. This was taken in the late PM light. Morning light is best at this location.

I couldn't have went for a drive on a more split day. Over cast below, unique cast above. 12-15-22 🙏💜 i can't wait to visit Asheville again, and go for a ride back to this peaceful overlook.

A fun place to explore! We expected the beautiful views, but all the little ruins and abandoned things along the trail were a real treat. Old stuff is so cool. To be up there in the mountains, feeling forever away from anything else, and to find man-made stuff that has been there, for, well, forever, is pretty neat.

Beautiful overlook like other overlooks on Blue Ridge Parkway. There’s a trail on the side leading to Pisgah Inn. There’s not much to see on the trail, though.

Nice area with access to the Mountains-to-Sea Trail (MST) and Mount Pisgah. The MST trail to the right of the parking lot heads towards the Pisgah Inn/Buck Springs Overlook. The MST trail on the left will take you towards Bent Creek. Drive further down the road and you'll come to the Mt. Pisgah trail. Also, there's a really great view at the overlook but take the trail to the Buck Springs Overlook (similar name but different spots) just 500 feet away. Elevation - 4,950 feet.
