Life changing gelato. Gentleman behind the counter was super lovely, and patient with testing of flavours. We loved the chocolate and pistachio and he gave us a free cone with our cup! It was immensely delicious, would 100% return. Don’t miss out!!!!

We stopped by this place after having read mixed reviews. We agree with previous reviews. The gelato was very good, although not the best I’ve ever tasted. But the service was horrendous! The woman who helped us could not have been more unfriendly or unwelcoming. I was tempted to walk out. She was so rude. We felt like we just had to order whatever she was willing to serve us because God forbid we would ask her a question. She gave us dirty looks, never thanked us for coming in, and acted irritated at our mere presence. If she doesn’t like being in the gelato business, she should get another job! It’s all the customers that come in to order the ice cream that keep her in business. I can’t figure out why she would possibly need to be so unfriendly to her customers.

The best gelato I’ve had in Italy. The peanut butter flavor was delicious. The owner was also very friendly. Highly recommend.

Really glad this little gem is still making great gelato after so many years.
Haven’t been there in a while but their lemon and sage is a classic!

Fresh ingredients and large smiles.
Must try when in Florence

Small ice cream shop near the Boboli Gardens. Has a variety of different ice cream flavours, most of which had names that unfortunately weren't explained. I chose chocolate, stracciatella and (salted) pistacchio. All of them were flavorful and the chocolate especially, was very tasty. If you're looking for an authentic ice cream, look no further. There is seating outside, but not a lot.

3rd time in Italy, spent 2 weeks in different parts of the country and this is the best ice cream I have ever tried ! We went 4 times there , every day they had some different flavours. Peach is the best , just wonderful :)) Banana is really nice as well. Go there for sure ! 😍😍😍

While I do acknowledge finding a good gelato spot in Italy and Florence in particularly is not a stressful challenge, La sorbettiera managed to still stands out as an overall concept, visual branding… but also with a deliciously creative flavor menu.
From my choice, Lime Basil was simply top!

It’s tasty!! 🤤
I tried lemon and sage, pistachio, and catrame(75% dark chocolate). I think it’s a perfect combination of sweet and sour 🥰 . My favourite is the catrame flavour. The price is good (the cheapest is 2.7 euro)
