One of the best meals I had in Italy, not just Milan. The namesake Trippa Fritta did not disappoint, but it was their off-menu chef’s special that night that stole the show - terrine of chicken neck with fried mushrooms 😍😍😍

Booking a table is not easy; they open reservations 3 weeks prior to each date and immediately get fully booked. Luckily I emailed them to ask to be put on the waitlist, and they messaged me on the day to let me know they had counter seats available. Which turned out to be the best seats in the house as we could watch the chefs do their magic.

💯 would come back!

One of my Favourite restaurants in whole Milan. All perfect and tasteful. Very simple location, staff very prepared.

Despite the long wait online to be able to book the place, it was worth it. Heard about this place due to its popularity and difficulty in getting a reservation. We were able to head there for the first sitting at 7:30 pm. I personally am not a fan of the trippa, but I know it was enjoyed by the people with me. The Vitello tonnato is to die for, definitely the best I've ever tasted. I also had the meat as a main course which was very tender and cooked just enough. Paired with a glass of red wine, it was the perfect meal. The staff are also super friendly, which always comes as a surprise in Milan, and with an open kitchen system, you get a glimpse of what is happening in there. Filled with locals, so you know it is loved.

Trattoria Trippa is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The veal dish is one of the simplest yet most balanced bites of food one can ever imagine. From the tuna cream to the temperature of the veal - could be a bite I remember for the ages. Staff was amazing from Pietro, Roddy and seeing Chef Diego in the kitchen. This is a top restaurant anywhere and for the cost an even better experience. Can’t recommend enough!

This is a true gem in the Milano landscape. Outstanding food and great service.
Difficult to think about a better place to enjoy perfect, simple but world class food. Also incredibly low prices. The fried trippa, the bone marrow and their unique tagliolini with butter and parmigiano were out of this world. The true feeling of an authentic trattoria.

This cool little restaurant serves some very traditional Italian dishes, like fried tripe (beef stomach lining) and bone marrow. The vibe is cool, the service is prompt, and the food is all gorgeous.

Highly Recommended.

Best Veal Tonnée in town. The difficulty to book a table just adds to the hype. Simple dishes ("poor" ingredients) but in a city where appearances are more important, it is one of those few place where you can still get quality. Good wine list with small producers, appreciated. If we didn't live in Milan we would never pay these prices, but it is what it is...

From service, to ambiance, to food, Trippa kills it. We tried a variety of dishes, and they were all unique, delicate and delicious! Portion sizes are generous too which is rare for these types of places. We tried a couple of wines, which were all amazing. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. 1000% recommend when in Milan! Note that reservations are hard to come by but worth checking as sometimes cancellation pop up.
