As a Vietnam Veteran I have worked closely with the members of the NYC Veterans Alliance to promote Veterans Rights in NYC. They have helped veterans in every way possible and continue to do so. A fantastic group!
The NYC Veterans Alliance is very helpful in assisting veterans in many ways specially during this pandemic.
They also help with veterans claims, Housing, meals and even checking on veterans by making phone contact to check on their wellness and needs.
In these hard times they are truly a great help to veterans in many different ways.
Thank You for all you do !

NYC Veterans Alliance has a great base of Veterans that represent the community well in such a large city. They’ve helped me navigate the VA system well in NuC and have many volunteers that go out of their way to help their local community whether it’s part of the veteran community or not. They’ve also helped many veterans during the peak of COVID-19 get the assistance they need.
The New York City Veterans Alliance is staffed with people who truly care about connecting Veterans to the resources they need. When COVID-19 struck, creating even more daily isolation, they even altered their operations to conduct thousands of telephone calls to check in with Veterans.
I left active duty after six years of service last summer and returned to NYC with little to no assistance, guidance or direction on how I can adapt to leading a civilian life again. In a very vulnerable time for me, the NYC Veterans Alliance and it's incredible staff introduced me to a passionate and caring environment where I found purpose again. From their advocacy work to their ongoing Mutual Aid program, the Alliance has dedicated themselves to the needs of the NYC veteran community, a passion I haven't seen before being a born and raised New Yorker. This is an organization you can count on.
I left active duty 15 months ago and faced difficulties transitioning back to the civilian world. The NYC Veterans Alliance helped me adjust in ways that I could never believe. This organization gave me a sense of purpose, camaraderie, and support in ways I never expected. If I could leave 6 stars out of 5, I would.
When I contacted the Organization and explained our dire situation, Mr. Fitzgerald did not hesitate to help with our Son, who is a veteran who served in the United States NAVY. Because of our age and our health issues our son could no longer stay with us during the covid-19 out brake . he had to leave our home and live in a hotel room for a short time until he ran out of money and no employment .he had no place else to go.at.which time he became homeless. Long story short Mr. Fitzgerald and the NYC Veterians Allience worked very hard to get him a place to stay and signed up for different programs. He is looking forward to getting back on his feet.the Covet 19 has really taken a toil on all of us.
Thank you So much for helping our family and ,our Son during these hard times.. and all service members...We appreciate all of your Support.
Sincerely and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
