Wonderful Nobel palace that had been renovated. Much care and detail had been taken to preserve the past and introduce the present. Along the city wall of Palermo with panoramic views of the city and harbor. The palace was bombed in WW2 and was renovated back beautifully with wood and a deck to see the area. Even a sky light was placed where the bomb came in. Also kept the root of the tree that led to a well. Overall a wonderful educational place.
One of the best museums I have ever been to. They strive to introduce you all kinds of things about art, by lending a book, decoration, furniture, glasses, floor, terraces, gardens and roof.. I enjoyed so much. Clients arr also very nice. Thank you!
If you love V&A museum in London, you have to go there.
The only thing is if you are not sure where the entrance is, just follow and believe the map.

One of the best places in Sicilia, good equilibated between Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art.
Really beautiful to just walk around and look at the beautiful contemporary art next to historic art in a very classical and beautifully renovated building. Definitely worth a visit when in Palermo.
Very nice, modern and clean museum. It's not too big or too small, you may visit it within 1 hour and the staff were super!!Some of the exposures were very interesting and the courtyard is amazing.
The HIGHLIGHT of Palermo. A must see architectural renovation of a palatial home filled with art from old to modern. There is something for everyone here. Stunning sea views and a great cafe.
Definitely worth a visit, well curated mixed groupings of mostly contemporary art with a British bias, reflecting the origins of the collection. We ended up taking our time exploring the succession of gallery spaces and spent about 5 hours there. There are no wall captions, as you are invited to experience the art in the spaces, free of an external commentary, but you can borrow a catalogue from the ticket desk that will give you background information about the the various spaces (at the end of the tour you can then purchase it as a souvenir if you wish).
The building itself is worth a visit. Some nice architectural features make it into something special. You can even go up under the roof and on top of the roof for a nice view.
Unfortunately, the way the art are curated it is a bit unsatisfying. You have to take a book with you in which you always have to look where you are and what you are looking at. The concept of the art collection doesn’t become clear. But I still found some really interesting art pieces.
