This is our 3rd rice visiting the Koka Booth Amphitheater for the lantern festival and it has been so much fun each time! It is a great place to take the whole family(we took 5 kids) and everyone has a great time. The displays are absolutely stunning and they change things up every year which is awesome. There is so much to the place and it is such a fun experience. Highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again next year!!

Our second time at the Chinese Lantern Festival. It was a pretty good experience. My favorite part was the crystal light ball in the mirror room. I wish I could have worn warmer clothes because it's getting colder at night while we're walking. Other than that, I recommend it for a date night or bringing kids. They will love it! If you go on a weekday night, it might not be too crowded.

We went for the Chinese Lantern Festival and it was very cute and enjoyable to walk around in. It took some time for us to get in the free parking lot around 6 PM. From there ot was just a 5 min walk to the main gate. Lots of open space and interesting paths tucked away but could maybe use more seating/levels for those that are maybe not the tallest and want to see the stage without having to be far away. Lot of food options but we like waffles the most. Watched some great performance at the stage. Lighting was great. A must visit event if you are in traingle area.

We went here for the Chinese Lantern Festival and it was truly a one of a kind experience. The lanterns were so elaborate and beautiful, the kids and I just loved it. It was very busy, so it was a bit hard to stop and enjoy the lanterns. On the main strip you are walking on a sidewalk and there are people walking both ways. When you stop, everyone behind you has to stop, so in order to not be rude, you just have to keep walking. Other than that it was amazing and worth the drive from Charlotte.

The Chinese lantern festival is always impressive. It is very well organized, clean and perfectly structured. We go every year. There are a few food trucks and some convenience food as well (pizza, hotdogs). It gets a little crowded after 7pm but if you take it slowly, it's worth the hassle.

The light festival was awesome. They have beautiful lanterns everywhere and kids play activities. My little ones enjoyed the colorful swings and jumping lights. The show was nice. The place was crowded. Most of the security is outside or at the door only, you won’t find any security inside and also there isn’t a map which shows/guide you about the path. The festival wont allow you to carry any purse or a big bag not even water bottles. They stopped us for this things at the door, however for some people they allowed to take water bottles 😠. Initially I thought it is good thing to not allow big bags however I feel intention is different. They are selling water bottle for $4. Overall the experience was nice.

Amazing festival! The lights and performers were super. The parking was very well organized. The amphitheater itself doesn't provide the elevation to be able to see over those in front of you. I suggest taking your time on the long lantern path on the way in. We were in a crowd and moved too quickly through there, so we came back to see it better but once you come in through it you can't go back in there. I loved seeing the kids reacting to the scenes and playing! Super kid friendly.

💞The Chinese Lantern Festival at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, North Carolina was absolutely stunning!!! Despite the cold temperature, it was a simply lovely evening!! The intricate details of the Chinese Lanterns and lights were nothing short of amazing!! Well worth the time and money to experience this with my sisters!! I'm hoping we can make this an annual girlz outing!! 💞 Please everyone, go see this display for yourselves! The pictures truly do not do it justice! To be there in person is an outstanding visual treatment! They even had wonderful on-stage performances, hot chocolate booths, food trucks, and other vendors! You won't be disappointed with this fascinating creative exhibit!

Great venue will all kinds of events year round. Attended Triangle Oktoberfest and had a great time. Quality sound and stage, and it feels so close to nature. Looking forward to return for oncoming events like the New Years Festival!

Koka is a great place for a show. Parking was free, easy, and only required a short walk. Concessions were quick to get through, except for the merchandise line, the restrooms were clean, and the lines moved quickly. Beers were $10, which is cheaper than most. You can rent lawn chairs for $6, which I do recommend if you don't bring your own. Turnpike Troubadours, Lucero, and Reckless Kelly were great as well. I will return to see other bands. Security upon entering the venue was easy, and everyone was very nice.

Fun atmosphere and had a great time at the dragon boat festival. This held a few thousand people easily and allowed for probably about 40 different pop ups or food trucks. Good sound system and the proximity to the lake was nice. Plenty of parking as well!

Really nice amphitheater. We went there for the Dragon Boat Racing but mostly watched the shows. There were tons of food trucks and vendors, all the shows were good too. Everyone is so talented. They had every kind of Asian food that you can think of. Bathrooms were really clean too, the staff was constantly changing the garbage cans and cleaning the bathrooms. All in all a really nice experience.

This place is amazing. Went to see Rahsaan Patterson and Loose Ends very pretty and the sound was amazing. I recommend that if you have a chance to go to a concert here, please go. The food was good and even in the rain, I enjoyed myself. The bathrooms were large and clean.Strict rules about what you can bring inside.

Beautiful well kept venue. Plenty of seats. The seats were very close to the stage. They have plenty of food and drinks at a reasonable price. Chair rentals available. No umbrellas allowed. I would definitely go again.

Our first time here. Surprisingly easy in and out parking. Free Handicap Parking.
Well organized venue.
Sat in Section 2 Row N Seats 22-23 for Boney James and Gerald Albright. Great seats. Excellent concert!!
The only downside was slow entry and slooow lines for food & drink.
We hope to see more groups here.
