Food is okay here run of the mill Indian food I would say ....but they do have a cheap buffet and that's rare in town also the take out box isn't too bad as well I gave them an extra star for there prices being reasonable..... With the prices of everything going up...I'm glad a place is still trying to keep prices low....offering what most don't in town....I didn't try what was on the menu only buffet items go in the take out box

I used to love this place (and the owner's previous establishment, "Modern India") as it was the only cheap Indian buffet in the region. They've started discriminating against Canadian customers ("non-veg") recently, and I can't support them anymore. All you can eat is all you can eat, not all you can eat "veg or non-veg."

Starting with the thali - it doesn’t come with raita, which is odd considering that it generally does come with it at other Indian restaurants. When we walked in, we asked if the meat is halal and they said it is. However, I didn’t see a halal certification or sticker. The kheer did not taste good and their gulab jaman looked dry. To top it off, they do not pack leftovers. I get that if we went for the buffet option but we ordered thali’s. Also, the washroom is very dirty. Overall, for the price we paid, it was not worth it - I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone to dine at.

If you wanna get sick…this is place you should definitely visit. Owner is soooo polite that even ghost pepper is less spicy than him… food’s was soo aromatic that it literally smelled like a aged barreled food. Why Google doesn’t have a negative star button. Would definitely request google to make that an option only for this restaurant

I called this restaurant to place an order. The woman who answered the phone "greeted" me by rudely asking: "What do you want?" No joke!!! Startled, I said: "I want to place an order"
From that point on, until she hung up on me (literally!) she was the most unhelpful, scruff, rude and dismissive customer service rep I've ever interacted with from a restaurant.

Note to this restaurant: If you value your business at all, get someone else on the phone. This woman is loosing you business with every phone call you get.

Note to customers: go someplace else! If the service is this bad, imagine the quality of the environment where this food is cooked.

To anyone reading this: “We only get one chance at making the right first impression!”

I would give 0 star if there was an option of it. The worst taste, worst customer service, all are rude need to first learn how to deal with customer. All the curry were cold we told them they were shouting. We ask for samosa they told no to us also we were eating amd the man started taking plate from us. Very bad will never recommend to any one.. please guys don’t go…….

Just ordered 3 dishes here via Doordash and I regret my decision.
1) Aloo Gobi
2) Paneer Jaipuri
3) Chicken Nishilli,,

The time I went there for pickup, they were closing their restaurant. So it could be possible that they chucked whatever was leftover on the Buffet and gave me, rather than cooking fresh for an (a la carte ) order.
I could not finish their food, all of the Curries seemed same in appearance, seemed same in taste and above all extremely oily.
It was so oily that,in order to avoid constipation, (we) couldn't eat it and we threw them in Garbage.
It is a sorry excuse for an Indian restaurant,, should market themselves as a curry house.
I'm more sad and worried about my family's health than the $50 I have wasted here.

The very last image is of the food that I am going to throw away in Trash.

Ordered some samosas yesterday. The taste was awful, the vegetables were not properly cooked and tastes like frozen vegetables. And there is not a drop of oil in that, the samosas are air fried, the outer cover is hard and it doesn't tastes nice at all. Had these experiences before but tried again hoping that there would be a difference!! Not recommended for samosas
