When I got off the train and went up the escalator, there are a group of blue vested scammer/solicitor who are trying sell rip-off tickets white hanging around checking out vulnerable tourists. One middle-aged with dread locks is very CREEPY. wearing shorts exposing skin.

Station was easy to use but could use some cleaning and upkeep.

Super convenient to catch the Staten Island Ferry without walking across the street - only a few minutes walk, if that.

One of the best station. I like the way it’s designed, spaciously. Clean all the items, there are elevators & escalators.

Super convenient for me to catch the Staten Island Ferry without walking across the street. 1, R, and W train takes me to this stop. It has free transfer and wide open train station including multiple escalators.

Relatively nice station. The main issue is that the staircase to the platform are very narrow.

Some great murals and the escalators instead of stairs are a welcome site. Signage is clear and reasonably obvious. Platforms are well lit. Easy to use station.

Good, for a subway station. It is clean, and the trains (occasionally) run on time. It is convenient to the staten island ferry, and it has a connection to the 1 at south ferry. Easy ride to Brooklyn. Slower to midtown. It is a bit inconvenient on weekends, though, as only R trains stop.
