I had an excellent experience. Couldn't make an online appt due to issue with the website but I got a hold of a very polite and thorough customer service representative on phone. Made an appointment to apply for dual citizenship as an adult with Registro Civil office. I arrived 30 min early. One of my requirement documents was not legible. The person working on my application allowed me to have someone email me a scanned copy of the document, then I emailed it to her. Once she had all the documents in hand, it was only a few minutes before my signature and fingerprint taken. Was given option for pick up in 10 days or walk 2 blks to UPS store for self addressed evenvelope. I choose to go to ups store . Came back with my envelope and gave them to her without another wait in line, for my documents to be mailed to me. The whole deal was under 3 hours. Everyone was super nice, thorough about their job, and polite. 10 stars 🌟 Gracias
They talk and don’t do their job. I waited around 4 hours. Its hot in there. Worst experience ever. My feet hurt from standing up for so long!! BAD SERVICE. DONT COME HERE. LONG LINEEE, all they do is chismear. Don’t come here and don’t waste your time, find a better place that wont have you waiting like this.
I had no reason to go inside. I just found it very cool to walk by and see everyone walking onto work.
The worst service ever. Website doesn't work. It takes an more then an hour to get someone on the phone just so they don't answer your questions and hang up on you. This is so unprofessional. The most rude people work her an so unorganized.
Several services need appointment thought Phone call or on line. From 2th floor and up like health or protección attendance do not need previos appointment. Personal is well trained. In case of emergencial issues cónsul has given to attendance of service demand.

Everyone in there is very respectful, attentive and understanding. I was missing one thing for my passport application so they told me that if I could get the missing document by 1:00pm that they will still validate my appointment. The lady at the register was so sweet. I think that everyone writing bad reviews are people who don’t understand the process and get frustrated.

My experience was 5 star all the way. Everyone that I encountered was professional and did their job, from the wonderful security woman that I first encountered upon arrival to the woman who interviewed me for my visa and even the woman who I met with when I returned to pick up my visa, were all great. I highly recommend this office for visa processing if you live in or near New York. I was nervous reading the reviews but if you are prepared with all of the required documents and the required appointment then I think you will be fine. Now if you don't have an appointment or all of the information that is needed then yes, you will have a problem so do your research on line if you cannot get through on the telephone.
