The first time I went there was a few years ago and we sat outside to have tacos. It felty okay. However, this time, we sat inside and had the pork ribs and the goat plates and the guac & chips and some other thing- and I am here to tell you that it was all really good! The service was friendly and prompt. The interior is a huge space-bigger than you would expect looking at the doorway- and its tastefully done BUT it can get loud! But, it gives a true feeling of a restaurant in Mexico so full points for that.
So good. No wonder it's so busy all the time but definitely worth a little wait.
Ordered the enchiladas mixtos & the girlfriend got some tacos and a mole tamale.
The enchiladas were one of the better ones I’ve had in NYC. I prefer roja over verde, and I felt like the flavor was perfect. The meat inside was also great too.
I tried one bite of the tacos and tamale too. The Al pastor was the best, carnitas was also good. The fish taco, unphoto’d, was not good. It’s just a broiled salmon taco.
Will come back again and try one of their main platter dishes soon. We first tried to come here on a weekend evening and it was completely packed, with an abuelo playing a guitar and singing, 🔥. Weekday evenings are pretty mellow for finding a table.

Very clean, nicely decorated and plenty of seating, the food was amazing, the service was great!
My favorite spot the only Mexican food I’ll ever be willing to eat taste so good and authentic the meat taste amazing and they give amazing portions my carne asada was well done and had such a rich flavor the rice and the beans compliment the dish so well like you can never go wrong coming here the horchata is always amazing as well !!!
The chilaquiles and vegetarian burrito were amazing. Lots of options to choose from and all of the food was great. The frozen margaritas are super affordable but tasted like margarita mix.
This is a gem. So this place might not be the coolest looking but the prices and food more than make up for it. It's simple decor and the day we went there was a soccer game so service was a little off lol. However our food came out quickly was delicious and we'll prices. I got a margarita for 5.50. the fajita plate was super generous portion cooked well!! Would definitely recommend!
