This is my childhood cheung fun place! They have delicious rice noodles that they make extremely hot and fresh (you can watch them make it). The lady speaks English, mandarin, and Cantonese so it's easy to order. They'll make it fresh and you can place the sauce from the bottle they have on the counter.

We got two rice rolls and also two small soy milks, which they make fresh at the location too. The small soy milk was almost a liter and it was a lot for the price.

We stood right next door and ate there before leaving since they don't have a dining area. They have a trash bin though to throw it out afterwards.

ELITE Cheung fun (rice rolls/crepes) made to order in a hole-in-the-wall spot that you order from the window. Amazingly cheap (around $2.50) in this inflation economy and the people are so nice. Can’t go wrong with any order, but the char siu (roast pork) one is my favorite. Selection of 3 sauces you can put on yourself: sweet soy sauce, creamy peanut butter sauce, and sriracha. Everything is made fresh here and you should also get the doh jurn (soy milk) - it goes hand-in-hand with the rice rolls. One of the few places left in a gentrifying Chinatown that makes fresh rice rolls and soy milk - gotta appreciate it while we still have it! Usually a queue in the mornings as it’s popular for breakfast but moves fast.

Ohmygod i am still dreaming about this place. The rice rolls are amazingly good, perfect texture, tasty, affordable price !! Everything is home made and made to order. You can see it right in front of you! I respect the hard work of everyone in that shop, truly amazing how hard they work to maintain this traditional, authentic and delicious dish. So satisfying to eat there !! Thank you so much.

The real Taste of China

If you're in Chinatown, the small Chinese street food joint on Henry Street is a must-visit. With around 15 seats, it's as authentic as it gets. The place is like a little piece of China in New York, with way over 90% of the patrons of Chinese descent.

The menu is straightforward, but the flavors are really great, and it won't break the bank.

We tried the noodle soup with ribs and the pan-fried dumplings - both were delicious. The service is quick, and the food arrived promptly.

In summary, it's a fantastic culinary journey into the heart of Chinatown, offering a taste of China that won't disappoint.

This place is a fantastic rice roll spot! 🍚 Sun Hing Lung serves made-to-order rice rolls with a variety of toppings (meat 🍖 or veggies 🥬) for a very affordable price! 🏷️
Definitely get their Corn 🌽 Rice Roll for only $2.50 - it is incredibly delicious 🤤 and the portion size is great! This place only accepts cash 💵 and has no seating 🪑 so prepare taking your order to-go! 🥡 Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and the service is super quick. ⏲️ I wish I came here sooner!

Top notch rice rolls and they offer various flavors.

First time here and I was expecting a restaurant type with at least a few tables for indoor dining however,it’s just a basic storefront with a ordering counter. You’re served and you add the sauces yourself.

Overall was a pleasant experience and it’s a quick cheap bite. Note CASH only!!!

I love Cheung Fun aka rice rolls! One of my absolute favourite dim sum dishes of all time. This unassuming, hole-in-the-wall (literally) store is serving up fresh rice rolls for a great price and I highly recommend you stop by when in Chinatown.

What we got:
- Roasted Pork Rice Rolls
- Curry Fish Balls Rice Rolls

Final thoughts:
This spot has no seating as you order at a take-out window. Don't forget to pour on some sauces before enjoying your freshly made rice rolls. The rice rolls were made to order and perfectly bouncy. Our two orders came to a total of $6.75 (bring cash!).

If you're looking for great cheap Chinatown eats, Sun Hing Lung should definitely be on your list.

Quick service at good price. I ordered their shrimp and meat rice roll. Two orders should fill you up and cost about $5. The girl up front makes it quick. Sauce up front you add yourself. Need to eat asap for best taste. They also have glass jelly snacks with honey water. Overall food is good. I went too light on adding the sauce.

The back of store (no access) looks like a warehouse where they make all their food from raw materials.
