This is a really nice movie theater and run very well. I do wish there were some healthier food options but that’s a problem with all movies theaters and not specifically Charlestown. During Covid, they made it a comfortable place to go that felt safer than so many others. The seats are comfortable. The staff is friendly. It’s clean. The movie choices are usually very good. It’s not their fault. If for several weeks in a row all they can have are slasher and Marvel movies. But there’s usually some excellent less popular artistic choices that many of us appreciate. Parking is good. It’s just an all-around good theater and of course ticket prices are so much better than chains like AMC.
I enjoy going to the movies. Classic Cinemas is easy on the finances and has the reclining heated chairs you now find at most theaters. If you want to enjoy a few hours of entertainment at a reasonable price. I recommend this theater chain.
Reasonably priced but that's about as far as the accolades can go. Being located in a long since extinct carcass of a mall it's pretty dismal going there in general. The theater screens sound aren't anything remarkable. The staff is barely even more cognizant than Walking Dead. They do, however, have reclining seats that have adjustable headrests and heat functions so there's a minor Plus
It's one of our favorites. Always good seats available and now have heated, reclinngg seats! Our go-to theatre for good prices, excellent shows, and warm popcorn.
You have to understand what you're getting here. Many theaters these days are super upscale and totally priced through the roof. This place has the nice seats, which is great. You can reserve them ahead of time and all that. The food and drinks aren't all that pricey, though, which is what makes it for me. They have $5 matinees on certain days and the slushees are free refills. So is the popcorn. They now serve alcohol, too, if that's your thing. On top of all that, they have a decent rewards program that actually gets you a good amount of value back even if you only see movies there sporadically. Love this place!!
Went there to watch a bollywood movie. Exterior of the place is old, however, interior is nice. Well decorated, renovated. There's place to buy cold drinks and popcorn. Washroom is clean. Theater seats are spacious, can be adjusted and has heater. My experience was good. Recommended.
Had a free movie ticket from my birthday rewards so went for the 1130am Saturday show of Air. Only about 20 people in the theater.
You buy tickets at the concession area as no one was working the ticket counter.
Concessions are a little pricey for this theatre but probably the norm these days.
