My parents came to visit from Maryland, and I took them here. The food, service, and ambiance was great! If you can get a window seat, it's worth the wait.
Such a nice place. Our waiter was professional as well as personable. The views were wonderful. Food was excellent
We had reservations at 6:30. We arrived at 6:15 and had a short wait. The host did not greet us or acknowledged us when we entered.
Another server asked us if we had been helped and we said no. She said will have someone help us.
The service was good/average. The food was overall good. Expected service to be a little more attentive. We were also seated at an awkward corner/end table area. There was high traffic there.
The views are beautiful. Request a table by the windows if they are available.

As with other Chart House restaurants, this one at Redondo Beach has amazing views of the ocean and the sunset, having an impeccably astounding location. It was a bit noisy to take in the ambiance and the view, however.
The service was quite good at the beginning when it wasn't so busy (5 PM reservation).
The food was okay. I had the Spicy Ahi as the main. It was okay but needed more garnishes that were to represent the spiciness. Of the two starters, Fried Kimchi Calamari was good.
Only street parking if their valet parking is not used, which I did as I didn't want to subject my car to a potentially skittish neighborhood.

Beautiful setting and ambiance. The food and service were great. The atmosphere is calming and my party and I saw a sunset while dining. I will be back.
I arrived at 5pm, almost an hour and fifteen minutes before my scheduled reservation. Having come early the restaurant was nearly empty. To my surprise I was given one of the best tables in the whole place - one that looked over the beautiful beach and the Pacific Ocean.
My server explained the menu in detail as he drifted away to prepare my martini, with blue cheese olives, not too dirty. It seemed as if it was a perfect stat to a perfect dinner in a perfect table.
My New England clam chowder arrived piping hot. I've had many, many clam chowders in my life and this one was incredibly savory and full of bits of delicious clam.
My macadamia crusted mahi mahi arrived adorned with a chutney of tropical fruit that perfectly complimented the fish.
The only complaint I had was the wine choices in their cab selection. They all seemed very main line, nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular, which was a little of a disappointment for someone that likes red cabs like I do.
Preferring to drink my dessert I ordered a Sambuca. It arrived in the perfect snifter (Brandy) glass with the traditional 3 coffee beans -thank you for not skimping on that. The 3 beans are so important for those of us that drink Sambuca as a ritual.
Overall, the meal was excellent, the view was incredible, and the experience was something I would love to do again -and I will next time I'm in town.
Thank you, Chart House, for a memorable meal and thank the GM for coming over during my dinner to make sure I was happy. You all did a great job.

The place was beautiful and the view was amazing. I was disappointed on how dirty things were. The table had food on it, my plate had crumbs on it and then my fork had hard food on it. So I had to request new of everything. The food wasn’t anything I would want again. The chicken was dry and the mushrooms didn’t have much flavor.
The Chart House a great place to celebrate a special occasion. There is valet parking for $8. We were lucky and were seated at a table by the window with a view of the ocean. We started with a drink. They have a very interesting cocktail menu. Some of the cocktails are like a mini show at your table. We tried a few and they were very good. Next, we ordered two appetizers, the coconut shrimp and half a dozen oysters on the half shell. The coconut shrimp is 5 shrimp, but there were 6 of us, so we had a double order. Everything was delicious. We ordered our meals and everything went as planned. We ordered the salmon, New York strip, spicy tuna. I would highly recommend everything. We also added on the salad bar. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out a dessert. In addition, we ordered the key lime pie. The food was delicious, the experience was great, and we were very entertained by our waiter, Fred. Fred was fantastic and I will request to sit in his section next time I go. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this place.
