I had a great experience here, very interesting kind of hidden place... my two starters were great! Hierloom salad and octopus salad, the bouillabaisse was decent, not the best I've had but none the less good... the service was great, I sat at the bar and was well recieved... Love the decor inside this place! I'd definitely go back! Oh there's also a great huge patio/outdoor seating area! Make a reservation unless you're single and sitting at the bar but even then I would recommend making one...

I really wanted to love this place. Or was very hyped up for me. We made a reservation on weeknight and told them we were celebrating 3 birthdays. It was very empty. We sat outside, there were probably 5 other parties. Lots of the staff is just chilling because there's not much to do. Very empty and quiet. The menu is exciting mix of Japanese and French with some Nola flair.

We asked the staff for recommendations because we were going to share several plates so we can try a few things. We were sold on the large plates and wanted to try the chicken stew. Coq au Riesling.

The dishes came out slow. Ironically the cheese plate we ordered didn't come out first, instead it came out last. Then the waiter asked if we wanted dessert. But wait our Coq au Riesling never came. He went to the kitchen, can't out and admitted the kitchen forgot but then also said it might have gone to another table. Wonderful. The one dish the birthday folk at the table were looking fwd to. They offered to still cook it but most of the staff were leaving for the day. We didn't want to be an issue. We told them to cancel it. They offered free dessert. We took them up on it.

It was supposed to be a special 3 way birthday dinner but it kindve fell flat. But at over $50 a person on a quiet night at a nice restaurant, I was kindve let down.

Some dish highlights were the steak and the tempura cauliflower.

The entrance is really hard to find. Look for the large green wall and there's a faded n7 sign. Be careful where you park and what you leave in the car. The neighborhood isn't the safest.

The N7 is the closest we have come to an actual French restaurant in New Orleans. We really love the decor and the outdoor garden area is really nicely laid out. The service is always excellent. The food is also great, several French favorites but with a slight Japanese influence. One of our favorite places to eat in the city.

We sat in their quaint and charming patio area. The ambiance was intimate and romantic. It's an eclectic style French Bistro in the midst of a dreamy fairy garden.

The food was fresh, adventurous, and wonderfully creative. The dishes we didn't expect much from were astonishing.

They have a vast drink menu from specialty cocktails to rare wines and a fully staffed bar.

Highly recommend a reservation with a special someone or get togethers with friends!

This is a magical place that a lot of people especially tourists. Do not know about. It is a Japanese French fusion restaurant and a magical garden. There’s a covered parts and a non-covered part and there’s a little space inside. There’s lots of yummy small plate things that are quite good and the cocktails are yummy, we had a lovely time and we keep going back and back and back.

Genuinely the prettiest restaurant i’ve ever been to and the food lived up to that as well. Great flavors, fully felt like I was transported to France. We sat in the outdoor garden, which I highly recommend. And, we both agreed that the orange olive oil cake was one of the best desserts ever.

My wife and I absolutely loved our meal at N7. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff was all wonderful, and the food was fantastic. We ordered a ton of small plates and everything was tremendous, but the venison, cabbage, and pavlova were our personal favorites. This will be an absolute return for us and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience in New Orleans

Our first visit to N7 was within a couple weeks of their opening in 2015 and we’ve been back several times per year since then. The menu has evolved but it’s always a great experience. We went for Easter brunch and the food was delicious as always. Our party of 5 shared the outstanding avocado and beets salads. I loved my French Onion soup. The sandwiches (salmon a couple of different ways, fried chicken, and hamburger) were all devoured. And the pavlova dessert that’s somehow always perfect (kudos to the pastry chef cuz it’s not that easy!). The atmosphere is cool, calm, and French country. The servers are efficient and just the right amount of attentive. N7 has long been a favorite, go-to restaurant and I can’t foresee that changing any time soon!
