Tasteful, entertaining look into the life of rich white people in the 1900s (this house was wedding gift to Flagler’s 3rd wife, they used it 6 weeks a year). Audio guide was good, there are tours 3 times a day. Policy says no backpacks- we cycled and I wish we would have brought water and rain jackets with us- you can check bags at the front desk at no cost. Tea room closed seasonally.

Henry Flagler is a great man with rich background and history. This beautiful home (museum) is amazing example that dreams come true. Think BIG! Highly recommend to visit!

We went there on hot Sunday, and were surprised that not a lot of people were there.
It is very nice to explore more about Mr. Flagler and see how he was living and where he enjoyed his last years of life.
Very educational for our 7 years old son . He was listening almost a whole tour looking at objects discussed on a self given tour. Especially rail road cabin, that was built for Flagler family.
Highly recommended for all ages.

Rich in history. Right on the water. Visited on Founders Day so entry was free for everyone. Beautiful architecture. Every room in that museum is different from the other. The only thing to improve on is that they give you a map to follow but the rooms you go to aren't often do not have signs telling you which room you are currently in.

Beautiful museum with lots of rooms to explore. Very cool to explore the history of the gilded age through this house! Seeing Flagler’s personal train car was also very cool! Admission is pretty expensive with no student/other discounts so that is the only downside.

Beautiful property. We spoke to the women in the gift shop for a while. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of items throughout the museum, whether it be carpet, paintings, chandeliers, or furniture, are top notch. Well worth the entrance fee.

Absolutely beautiful house!! Everything in it feels and looks so elegant and rich!! You can tell how much work and detail was truly put into this place when you spend a good 5 hours here lol thank you to everyone who played a part in keeping the doors open and the history alive! I definitely recommend seeing it in person! Great for the family :)

Incredible! What an amazing place. The staff was very friendly & kind. You aren’t allowed to bring in a backpack however they tell you this before you ever purchase a ticket. I was able to check my backpack for free & security looked after it. (Which is kind of nice that I didn’t have to carry it around.) Each room has so much detail and a lot of information you could honestly spend hours here. I personally believe that pictures don’t do it justice, it’s much more breathtaking when you visit in person. All in all a wonderful place, I spent about 2.5 hours there & would highly recommend.
