Henry Morrison Flagler Museum

Beautiful museum with lots of rooms to explore. Very cool to explore the history of the gilded age through this house! Seeing Flagler’s personal train car was also very cool! Admission is pretty expensive with no student/other discounts so that is the only downside.
Wahaca Covent Garden

Wahaca Covent Garden is an excellent restaurant just off of the Main Street. The paper menus double as placemats, it’s helpful to keep them around as you’ll likely order more than one round of food. The blackberry margarita is sweet with a nice sour element which I found really tasty.
The guacamole is simple and delicious - just avocado salt and lime. The pork is the best meat we had, both in the tacos and the burrito. The rainbow is also filling and tasty. Our favorite thing we had was a holiday special of potato esquites. The second time we went on our week-long trip they didn’t have them - what a shame!! We got the sweet potato bravas as. Side dish instead and they were also excellent! The smoky hibiscus dip reminds me of a more flavorful barbecue sauce!
This place takes precautions for gluten free/celiac. They change their gloves and put allergy flags so you know what food is safe for you. A manager is also required to take your order to make sure that they’re serious about the allergy.
Overall one of the best places we ate at in London!

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

One of the most impressive and beautiful gardens I have ever been to. The grounds themselves are beautiful, even in the winter. The highlights of the gardens are the three different greenhouses, all having different types of plants. My favorite was the princess of wales greenhouse because of the different biomes (tropical and arid) represented within one place. The treetop walkway may be more impressive, but it was largely closed because of the winter lights so you can go up but not walk around. The hive was an… interesting piece of art but still worth going over to see if you’re going to the greenhouses. The lake was full of birds so I recommend making your way there too. We saw a fox on our way to the lake and he came right up onto the path which was so cool to see. Tickets were discounted to students (people under 30).
Overall a fantastic garden full of impressive plants and wildlife.

So much fun! There’s a cool sculpture in the middle of the maze for you to take a picture with - if you can find your way there of course!
Village Deli

Village Deli is my favorite breakfast spot in Bloomington. The cup of coffee is surprisingly good for a diner environment. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve you. My favorite thing there is the bagel with lox. It has a good amount of salmon and enough toppings too. The cream cheese is not overpowering. I wish they had other flavors of bagels besides plain but the bagel is good. The bacon is always cooked well and tasty. The home fries are some of the best I have had. They are seasoned well and the perfect bite size! Overall a great place for breakfast. There is usually a wait but they are honest with the times.
