BEWARE. They quote a price at the airport. When you arrive to their office it almost doubled. Be careful with hidden fees. Not the same Fox as in the States. Be careful
Do yourself a favor and just don’t rent a car from them. Also the return address they give you is incorrect, the return is europacar
Unless you buy THEIR car insurance (they won't accept your credit card or personal insurance), they will put the full car value on your credit card as a hold. For us, this meant $10,200 USD! This was explained nowhere on their website.
The place is ok, but none of the information you used to book a car transfers over. Check in and check out take a long time. Ensure you take tons of photos of your car before taking off to avoid unfair damage charges.

It only seems cheaper the insurance is triple the price of rental and we returned the car a day earlier and they refused to refund anything the staff was rude and if you buy insurance before hand they will not honor it good luck getting the type you request. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Bait and switch - they lured me in with lower prices and then forced me to take insurance coverage which cost more than the rental. They also claimed the car would be on site at the terminal but I had to take a shuttle to another location to pick up the car.
Like Europcar, Fox Rent belongs to Europcar, they are scammers. You rent a car and only after payment, you are "gifted" with the information that the mandatory insurance, to drive in Mexico, is need. 45$/day. WAYYYYY More the car price. That´s a complete SCAM. These kind of enterprises need to close for good. Desonest enterprises.
I reserved a car for $228 for 6 days on Expedia, it says liability included. When I got there , they said that we have to buy collision for $200+, I can’t use my credit card rental car insurance unless I can show them a letter from the bank with my name on it to prove it. Rip off and a lot of hidden fees!!!
Beware of the Fox Rental Car scam. This is how is works: You reserve a car on their website thinking you got a good deal. But when you arrive to pick up the car they insist that you buy expensive insurance to cover the car and there is nothing you can do about it. They won't accept credit card insurance and they won't accept American Express Premium Rental Car insurance. They get you in the door with what looks like a great rate but then insist that you buy insurance for $40 per day. Don't fall for the scam. Better to get your car elsewhere.
