Too busy worried about the money and not on the food. they work too fast and orders are messed up all the time
I’ve been eating here for 16 years. Disappointed in the size of the hero sandwiches post-pandemic. Prices are up but portions are down. My turkey hero was basically two slices of meat surrounded by lettuce, tomato, mayo and bread. Prices have increased everywhere but this is the only spot in FiDi that I’ve been to where they legitimately reduced the portion sizes. They won’t be getting my money again.
stopped by for a quick breakfast sandwich and got what i wanted cheap fast and convenient would go again !
Came here back in August twice for late breakfast. Can't remember the names bu the bagels and sandwiches we had were amazing! Very filling and value for money. Go who worked there is a Newcastle United fan too! Will go back when next in NY.
It's good reliable deli for lunch near my office. The sandwiches are made efficiently with fresh ingredients. The prices are very reasonable for the Financial District. There are few tables and a counter at the window. When the deli is quiet, I've eaten my lunch there. Or else I take it to my office. Only caveat is don't take a late lunch hour. Before the pandemic it closed later than it does now.
The guy behind the counter who takes the orders is awesome. Very nice and accommodating. I think the prices are great based on the location. This is my go to spot for breakfast everyday I come into the office. I went there for lunch a few times and the portions are generous and food is always good. I am very happy I found this hidden gem.
Excellent service, great prices considering, very quick turnaround even during the morning or lunch rush hours. I dont know their names but a special shout out for the deli counter guys. I have worked nearby for 9 years now and I can always count on them for a fresh hot breakfast on my way to the office, and a bulked-up hero sandwich or hot meal during lunch.
